Chika Chika Cool didn't begin as a pet product. Its core formula is built on a patented human gum-treatment recipe — a precise blend of seven medicinal herbs developed to reduce gum inflammation, protect mucosal tissue, and prevent periodontal disease.

When MIMIPET Co., Ltd. began researching oral health solutions for animals, we recognized that the biology behind gum inflammation is not species-specific. The same active compounds — eugenol from clove, glycyrrhizin from licorice, ligustilide from cnidium — work just as effectively in a dog, a horse, or a racing camel.

So we adapted the formula. We removed everything an animal shouldn't ingest. We replaced chemical preservatives with grapefruit seed extract. We made it water-soluble so it can be added to a drinking trough as easily as it can be sprayed directly into a bichon's mouth. The process

The extraction process is what separates a working herbal formula from a marketing one.

The active compounds in our seven herbs — eugenol, glycyrrhizin, ligustilide, menthol — are temperature-sensitive. Extract them too hot, and you destroy them. Extract them with ethanol, and you introduce a substance no animal should drink daily.

Chika Chika Cool is produced through controlled low-temperature decoction at 70-80°C for 7 to 12 hours. This range is precise on purpose: it's the sweet spot where the active compounds release into solution without breaking down. The result is a finished product with a measurably higher concentration of working ingredients than fast-extracted alternatives.

Every batch is tested. Every herb is sourced from verified suppliers. And because the extraction yields a stable, water-soluble liquid, no chemical stabilizers are needed downstream.
