위기일촉즉발의 상황에 대처하는 다니엘을 보다

(단2:14-24)
14 When Arioch, the commander of the king's guard, had gone out to put to death the wise men of Babylon, Daniel spoke to him with wisdom and tact.  15 He asked the king's officer, "Why did the king issue such a harsh decree?" Arioch then explained the matter to Daniel.  16 At this, Daniel went in to the king and asked for time, so that he might interpret the dream for him.  17 Then Daniel returned to his house and explained the matter to his friends Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah.  18 He urged them to plead for mercy from the God of heaven concerning this mystery, so that he and his friends might not be executed with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.  19 During the night the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven  20 and said: "Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his.  21 He changes times and seasons; he sets up kings and deposes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.  22 He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him.  23 I thank and praise you, O God of my fathers: You have given me wisdom and power, you have made known to me what we asked of you, you have made known to us the dream of the king."  24 Then Daniel went to Arioch, whom the king had appointed to execute the wise men of Babylon, and said to him, "Do not execute the wise men of Babylon. Take me to the king, and I will interpret his dream for him."  


느브갓네살의 분노(忿怒) 그리고 명령(命令)
그것은 근위대장(近衛隊長) 아리옥에게 전달
바벨론의 지혜자(智慧者) 모두를 죽이라... 한다

이러한 사실을 알게 된 다니엘
그는 자칫 자신들의 신세도 역시 동일하게 될 것을 알았을 때
다니엘이 취한 일은 세가지

하나는 아리옥에게 말미를 얻어 냈으며
친구들에게 기도를 요청
자신도 하나님께 간절히 그 문제를 놓고 기도(祈禱) 했다는 것이다

그런 다니엘에게
하나님은 나타나셨고
그 누구도 알 수 없는 느브갓네살의 꿈에 대한 모든 것을 알게 하셨다는 기록

그런 응답을 받은 다니엘
받은 감동
하나님을 찬양하는 모습...

오늘따라 기도(祈禱)의 중요성(重要性)이 느껴진다
하지만 나는 이방종교인(異邦宗敎人)들이 하듯
무당(巫堂) 굿 하듯하는 기도(祈禱)에는 거부감(拒否感)이 있다

때로는 간절함이 사무쳐 외칠 때가 있음을 부정하는 것은 아니다
다만 그렇게 늘 기도해야 한다는 의식을 거부하는 것이다
범사에는 조목조목 하나님과 대화하듯 ...말씀드리는 듯 하는 기도를 선호(選好)해야 한다는 뜻

오늘도 정해진 시간에 눈을 뜨게 하신 하나님
이렇게 말씀묵상으로 시작하는 하루
잠시 후 전도활동과 새벽기도회 시간을 통한 찬송 성경통독 기도를 할 수 있다는 그것이 얼마나 나를 감사하게 만드는지 모른다

오늘 하루도
하나님께 영광 
할렐루야!
