Bible Reading - Hebrews 13:9~17

13:9 Do not be carried away(휩쓸려가다. 끌려가다) by all kinds of strange teachings.

모든 종류의 이상한 가르침에 휩쓸려가지 말라.

It is good for our hearts to be strengthened by grace, not by ceremonial foods(의례음식), which are of no value to those who eat them.

은혜로 우리 마음이 강하게 되는 것이 좋고 그것들을 먹는 자들에게 무가치한 의례 음식에 의해서는 아니다. 

13:10 We have an altar from which those who minister at the tabernacle have no right to eat.

우리에게는 제단이 있는데, 성막에서 봉사하는 자들은 그 제단에서 먹을 권리가 없다.

13:11 The high priest carries the blood of animals into the Most Holy Place as a sin offering, 

대제사장은 속죄 제물로서 동물의 피를 지성소 안으로 나르지만 

but the bodies are burned outside the camp. 그 몸들은  진영 밖에서 태워진다.

13:12 And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood. 그래서 예수께서도 그의 피를 통해 사람들을 거룩하게 하시려고 성문 밖에서 고난당하셨다.

13:13 Let us, then, go to him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace he bore.

그러므로 우리는 그가 겪은 치욕을 짊어지고 진영 밖으로 그에게로 나아가자.

13:14 For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come.

여기에 우리가 영구한 도시가 없지만, 우리는 장차 올 도시를 찾고 있다.

13:15 Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise--the fruit of lips that confess his name.

그러므로 예수를 통하여 우리는 그의 이름을 고백하는 입술의 열매인 찬양의 제사를 하나님께 계속 드리자.

13:16 And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.

그리고 선을 행하고 다른 사람들과 나누는 것을 잊지 말라. 하나님께서는 그러한 제사를 기뻐하신다.

13:17 Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. 

너희들의 지도자들과 그들의 권위에 순종하라.

They keep watch over you as men who must give an account(짐을 지우다).

그들은 마치 회계해야 할 사람들처럼 여러분을 지켜보고 있다.

Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden,

그들의 사역이 기쁨이 되고 짐이 되지 않도록 그들에게 순종하라.

for that would be of no advantage to you.

(그렇지 않으면) 그것은 너희에게 아무런 이익이 되지 않을 것이다.
