New to fancier drones, not sure where to turn to for this sort of issue.

I'm very new to higher end drones, so its possible I missed something during my excited set up today. I got a flylens 85 analog with a radio master pocket. I followed this video

setting up the radio and binding it to my drone, which seemed to work well. I also followed setting up the flight modes with no issue. But when I unplugged the drone from my computer and tried to arm it; firstly, the light strip turned off, then while the drone did arm, the props were turning but it was not a steady turn, more of waving turning. When I tried to give some throttle while holding on to the battery, it seems like the drone went close to full tilt and was not responding when the throttle stick to nothing. Only disarming the drone stopped the props. I went back through the video and made sure nothing was off on my end, saved everything, and now when I go to arm, the strip lights still turn off, but I have no up and down movement from the throttle, only side to side.Where should I start looking to get a better idea of the fix for this?
