 Item 23 : Noe - heo(雷虛,뇌허)... Hollow Thunder(An Empty Thunderous Sound)... Item 27.

    ●  Noe - heo(雷虛,뇌허) means that a mind perfected in sincerity becomes

         bound or entangled by what the ears hear.

    ● When true sincerity manifests outwardly,

       it may display itself with a sound as grand as thunder,

       however, if one remains utterly empty and hollow Within,

       they hear absolutely nothing (remaining undisturbed by external noise or praise).

    ■ 雷虛者는 誠心이 纏于耳聞하야 (뇌허자는 성심이 전우이문하야)

        Noe - heo means that a sincere mind becomes entangled and bound

        by the hearings of the ear. 

    ■ 誠發之時에 以雷聲之大로 自虛而不聞也라. (성발지시에 이뇌성지대로 자허이불문야라.)

       When sincerity bursts forth,

       it does so with the greatness of a thunderous  roar,

       yet one makes oneself empty within and does not hear it.
