<p>God is the One who protects His children from tribulation. In today's passage, Jesus observed the rich and the poor widow putting offerings into the treasury and said that the poor widow put in more because she had put in her entire livelihood. Furthermore, regarding the temple in Jerusalem, He declared that not a single stone would be left upon another and that every stone would be destroyed. He warned them to be careful not to be deceived and to win souls through patience. He also warned that on that day, woe would befall the infants and the nursing mothers, and that they would see the Son of Man coming on the clouds. I give thanks for speaking of future events.</p>
