일생 동안 시비가 없고 일생 동안 질병이 없이 늙어서 자손의 정성을 받으며 좋은 벗과 세월을 보낸다.

  Living a whole life free from disputes and illness, receiving the devotion of descendants in old age,

  and spending time with good friends.

一生에 無是非하고 一生에 無疾病하여 (일생에 무시비하고 일생에 무질병하여)

  Having no disputes throughout life, and having no illness throughout life.

老受子孫享하고 良朋으로 送歲月이니라. (노수자손향하고 양붕으로 송세월이니라.)

  In old age, receiving and enjoying the filial devotion of descendants,

  and passing the years with good friends.

스스로 정성이 지극하면 그에 응하는 복도 지극하니
여러 가지 흉한 일은 자연히 접근을 않게 되고 좋은 일은 자연히 찾아오게 된다.

  If one′s own sincerity is utmost, the blessings responding to it will also be utmost,

  Thus, various evil occurrences naturally keep away,

  and fortunate events naturally come one′s way.
