바메섹-가사-두로-에돔-암몬의 서너가지 죄

(암1:3-15)
3 This is what the LORD says: "For three sins of Damascus, even for four, I will not turn back my wrath. Because she threshed Gilead with sledges having iron teeth,  4 I will send fire upon the house of Hazael that will consume the fortresses of Ben-Hadad.  5 I will break down the gate of Damascus; I will destroy the king who is in the Valley of Aven and the one who holds the scepter in Beth Eden. The people of Aram will go into exile to Kir," says the LORD.  6 This is what the LORD says: "For three sins of Gaza, even for four, I will not turn back my wrath. Because she took captive whole communities and sold them to Edom,  7 I will send fire upon the walls of Gaza that will consume her fortresses.  8 I will destroy the king of Ashdod and the one who holds the scepter in Ashkelon. I will turn my hand against Ekron, till the last of the Philistines is dead," says the Sovereign LORD.  9 This is what the LORD says: "For three sins of Tyre, even for four, I will not turn back my wrath. Because she sold whole communities of captives to Edom, disregarding a treaty of brotherhood,  10 I will send fire upon the walls of Tyre that will consume her fortresses."  11 This is what the LORD says: "For three sins of Edom, even for four, I will not turn back my wrath. Because he pursued his brother with a sword, stifling all compassion, because his anger raged continually and his fury flamed unchecked,  12 I will send fire upon Teman that will consume the fortresses of Bozrah."  13 This is what the LORD says: "For three sins of Ammon, even for four, I will not turn back my wrath. Because he ripped open the pregnant women of Gilead in order to extend his borders,  14 I will set fire to the walls of Rabbah that will consume her fortresses amid war cries on the day of battle, amid violent winds on a stormy day.  15 Her king will go into exile, he and his officials together," says the LORD.  

다메섹 (아람)의 죄
 "철 타작기로 타작하듯 길르앗을 압박“
날카로운 쇠붙이가 달린 농기구로 곡식을 밟듯
이스라엘 영토인 길르앗 주민들을 극도로 잔인하게 짓밟고 폭력을 행사한 죄

가사 (블레셋)의 죄
반인륜적인 인신매매 및 노예 급송
"모든 사로잡은 자를 끌어 에돔에 넘겼다"고...
전쟁 포로나 무고한 사람들을 무자비하게 전원 붙잡아 이스라엘의 적대국인 에돔에 노예로 전량 팔아넘긴 비인도적인 죄악

두로 (페니키아)의 죄
신의를 저버린 형제의 계약 위반
가사처럼 사람들을 에돔에 노예로 넘겼을 뿐 아니라, 과거 이스라엘과 맺었던 "형제의 계약을 기억하지 아니하였다"고...

에돔의 죄
지속적인 증오와 무자비함
에돔은 본래 야곱의 형 에서의 후손으로 이스라엘과 혈연관계(형제국)
그러나 이들은 "칼로 그의 형제를 쫓아가며 긍휼을 버리고 친족을 향해 피도 눈물도 없는 적대감을 끝까지 화를 내며 분을 끝없이 품은 죄“

암몬의 죄
영토 확장을 위한 극단적 잔혹 행위
"자기 지경을 넓히고자 하여 길르앗의 아이 밴 여인의 배를 갈랐"다 라고 ...
겨우 땅을 조금 더 넓히겠다는 탐욕 때문에 임산부와 태아까지 잔인하게 학살한, 가장 극악무도하고 반인륜적인 전쟁 범죄를 저지름

비록 바메섹-가사-두로-에돔-암몬
그 나라들이 하나님앞에 바로 선 적은 없지만
오늘의 말씀을 통해서 하나님은
하나님은 공의(公義)로우셔서 선지자들을 통해서 주신 말씀대로 사는 자와 살지 않는 자 모두에게 합당한 상벌(賞罰)을 주신다는 뜻이 내포되어 있다

교회는 사랑 화해 용서 평화 평안 그리고 기복(祈福)에 치우친지 오래...
성경을 통해서 하나님은 늘 공의심판(公義審判)을 말씀하고 계신데...
아 언제나 성경독청묵기적(聖經讀聽黙祈適) 왕제중양(往弟重養) 언지신행일치(言知信行一致) 자왕파왕(自往派往) 사역을 통해 하나님을 알게하고
하여 회개회개(悔改回改) 고후5:17 완전 새롭게 변화 된 하나님의 사람으로 온전히 거듭나게 할 소망을 볼 수 있으려나...
