199과 나는 육체가 아니다. 나는 자유롭다.

[감사의힘]

1 자신을 육체로 인식하는 한 자유는 불가능합니다. 육체는 한계입니다. 누가 육체 안에서 발견될 수 없는 자유를 육체에서 찾으려 합니까? 마음이 육체 안에 있어서 육체에 단단히 매어져 있고 육체의 존재에 의해서 보호받고 있다고 더 이상 보지 않을 때, 마음은 자유롭게 될 수 있습니다. 이것이 진실이라면, 마음은 정말로 연약했습니다!

2 성령(Holy Spirit)에 봉사하는 마음은 영원히 한계가 없으며, 모든 방식에 의해서 시간과 공간의 법칙을 초월하며 어떤 선입관에도 묶여있지 않으며, 무엇이든 요청 받는 것을 할 수 있는 능력과 힘을 가집니다. 사랑Love의 근원Source이 마음에 주어졌기에, 공격하는 생각은 그런 마음에 들어설 수 없습니다. 그리고 사랑Love에 의미를 두는 마음에는 두려움이 들어갈 수 없습니다. 마음이 신 안에 머무르는데, 무구함 속에서 살며 오직 사랑하는 이들 중 누가 두려워하겠습니까?

3 오늘의 개념을 받아들여서 소중하게 간직하는 것이 기적수업을 나아가는데 있어서 필수적입니다. 에고에게 있어서 그것이 정말로 광적이라는 것에는 신경 쓰지 마십시오. 에고는 육체를 소중하게 여깁니다. 왜냐하면 에고는 육체 안에 깃들어서 육체가 만들어 놓은 집과 하나가 되어 살기 때문입니다. 자신이 환상에 불과한 것이라는 것이 발견되지 않도록 육체 속에 도피해 버린 에고는 환상의 일부분 입니다.

4 육체에 에고는 숨으며 육체에서 에고는 있는 그대로 보여 질 수 있습니다. 자신의 무구함을 선언하십시오. 그리하면 자유롭습니다. 성령(Holy Spirit)이 보는 필요성을 빼고는 육체가 필요치 않기에 육체는 사라집니다. 이렇게 해서, 육체는 마음이 해야만 하는 유용한 형태로 나타날 것입니다. 그렇게 해서, 육체는 신God의 계획에 따라서 마음이 도달해야만 하는 모든 것을 포함한 목표에 용서가 확장되도록 돕는 도구가 됩니다.

5 오늘의 개념을 소중히 여기고, 오늘 그리고 매일 매일 연습하십시오. 그대가 하는 모든 연습에서 오늘의 개념이 일부분이 되도록 하십시오. 세상을 도울 힘에 있어서 여기로부터 얻어지지 않는 생각은 없으며, 그대에게 선물로서 더해지는데 있어서 이득이 되지 않을 것은 또한 하나도 없습니다. 우리는 온 세상에 이런 개념으로 자유의 외침을 알립니다. 그리고 그대가 주는 선물을 받아들이는데 있어서, 그대 자신도 예외는 아닙니다.

6 성령(Holy Spirit)은 자유를 찾는 마음의 집입니다. 성령(Holy Spirit) 안에서 마음은 그들이 추구하던 것을 발견합니다. 육체의 목적은 이제 모호하지 않습니다. 육체는 분리되지 않은 하나의 목표에 봉사하는 능력에 있어서 완벽하게 됩니다. 자신의 목적으로서 자유에 대한 생각만을 가진 마음에의 갈등없는 분명한 반응 안에서, 육체는 봉사하며, 스스로의 목적에도 또한 봉사합니다. 노예로 만들 힘을 가지지 않는 육체는, 성령(Holy Spirit) 안에서 마음이 추구하는 자유에 대한 훌륭한 종servant입니다.

7 오늘 자유로워지십시오. 그리고 자신이 육체의 노예라고 여전히 믿는 이들에게 자유를 선물로 전하십시오. 오늘 자유로워지십시오. 그래서 묶여있고 힘이 없으며 두렵다고 스스로를 인식하는 많은 사람을 자유롭게 하는데 있어서, 그대가 묶여 있다가 벗어난 것을 성령(Holy Spirit)께서 이용할 수 있도록 하십시오. 사랑이 그대를 통해서 그들의 두려움을 대체하도록 하십시오. 지금 구원을 받아들이고, 이 선물을 그분께 드리도록 그대를 부르시는 성령(Holy Spirit)께 그대의 마음을 드리십시오. 성령(Holy Spirit)께서는 신 안에서 완전하게 완수되기를 기다리는 완벽한 자유, 완벽한 기쁨, 그리고 희망을 그대에게 주시려 하기 때문입니다.

8 그대는 신God의 아들Son입니다. 불멸성을 가진 그대는 영원히 삽니다. 마음을 이것으로 되돌리지 않으렵니까? 그리고 오늘을 위해서 성령(Holy Spirit)께서 주시는 생각을 잘 연습하십시오. 형제들은 그 생각 안에서 그대와 함께 해방된 채로 서있습니다. 그대와 함께 세상은 축복을 받습니다. 신God의 아들Son은 더 이상 슬퍼하지 않으며, 그대의 연습이 천국Heaven에까지  가져오는 기쁨의 증가에 천국Heaven은 감사를 표합니다. 그리고 다음과 같이 말하는 매 시간마다 신God께서 친히 그분의 사랑Love과 행복을 베푸십니다:

9 "나는 육체가 아니다. 나는 자유롭다.

나는 신God께서 들려주시는 음성Voice을 듣는다. 

그리고 나는 이 음성Voice에만 복종한다."

Lesson 199 I am not a body. I am free.

1 Freedom must be impossible as long as you perceive a body as yourself. The body is a limit. Who would seek for freedom in a body looks for it where it can not be found. The mind can be made free when it no longer sees itself as in a body, firmly tied to it and sheltered by its presence. If this were the truth, the mind were vulnerable indeed!

2 The mind that serves the Holy Spirit is unlimited forever, in all ways, beyond the laws of time and space, unbound by any preconceptions, and with strength and power to do whatever it is asked. Attack thoughts cannot enter such a mind because it has been given to the Source of Love. And fear can never enter in a mind that has attached itself to Love. It rests in God, and who can be afraid who lives in Innocence and only loves?

3 It is essential for your progress in this course that you accept today's idea and hold it very dear. Be not concerned that to the ego it is quite insane. The ego holds the body dear because it dwells in it and lives united with the home that it has made. It is a part of the illusion that has sheltered it from being found illusory itself.

4 Here does it hide, and here it will be seen as what it is. Declare your innocence, and you are free. The body disappears because you have no need of it except the need the Holy Spirit sees. For this, the body will appear as useful form for what the mind must do. It thus becomes a vehicle which helps forgiveness be extended to the all-inclusive goal that it must reach according to God's plan.

5 Cherish today's idea, and practice it today and every day. Make it a part of every practice period you take. There is no thought that will not gain thereby in power to help the world, and none which will not gain in added gifts to you as well. We sound the call of freedom round the world with this idea. And would you be exempt from the acceptance of the gifts you give?

6 The Holy Spirit is the home of mind that seeks for freedom. In Him it has found what it has sought. The body's purpose now is unambiguous. And it becomes perfect in the ability to serve an undivided goal. In conflict-free and unequivocal response to mind with but the thought of freedom as its goal, the body serves, and serves its purpose well. Without the power to enslave, it is a worthy servant of the freedom which the mind within the Holy Spirit seeks.

7 Be free today, and carry freedom as your gift to those who still believe they are enslaved within a body. Be you free, so that the Holy Spirit can make use of your escape from bondage to set free the many who perceive themselves as bound and helpless and afraid. Let love replace their fears through you. Accept salvation now, and give your mind to Him Who calls to you to make this gift to Him. For He would give you perfect freedom, perfect joy, and hope that finds its full accomplishment in God.

8 You are God's Son. In immortality you live forever. Would you not return your mind to this? Then practice well the thought the Holy Spirit gives you for today. Your brothers stand released with you in it; the world is blessed along with you; God's Son will weep no more, and Heaven offers thanks for the increase of joy your practice brings even to it. And God Himself extends His Love and happiness each time you say:

9 I am not a body. I am free.

I hear the Voice that God has given me,

And it is only this my mind obeys.
