ㅡ The last ridge climbing at Bukhansan( Bk Mt. ):2022. 12. 30

[곽노성(샛별)]

ㅡ Route : Wonhoy peak - Oymcho peaj shoulder - Baegundae peak -( hiking route ) Uidong village.

ㅡ Baegundae peak : 836m avove sea level, highest peak among Bukhansan mountain peaks.

Prominence : about 300m.

ㅡ Weather : clear sky( 20% cloud ), luckily almost no wind, warm-winter, minus 9 degree in Celcius.

ㅡ Members : Sinior Yoon and I knew 

ㅡ Start : at the Huojari bus stop( 50m avove sea level) : about 10th bus stop from Gupabal metro station of line 3, Seoul (  Bus line 34 of Kyunggidi province ) on 9 AM. 2022. 12. 30.

ㅡ Top of the peak : around 14: 10

ㅡ From the bus stop to near Yeou( fox ) tunnel( cave? ),  the hiking and ridge climbing was as normal as every day climbing this route.

ㅡ After went through the fox tunnel, we faced very high-sloped and deep-snowed gullys.

We had no special gear to cope with kind of situations.

ㅡ With  just so called, ridge boots and  no ice axe, no crampons and 10 Kg back pack, our climbing was big adventure.

During the climbing even  I thought of calling 119, Korean Resque Telephone number.

But finally we arrived at the top of Baku Dai.

Our ancestors made rock-stairs during condtructing Bulhansan castles, it's purpose was to prevent enemies from invades.
