우리가 사는 반도의 남쪽 가까운 곳에 사는 민족이우리를 잠 못 들게 하고있다.문(文)을 숭상하고 공론(空論)으로 세월을 보냈던 우리와는 달리무(武)를 숭상하고 실질을 추구했던 민족이태평양과 동아시아 제국을 잠시동안이나마꿀꺽 삼켰던 옛 시절을 그리워하고 있다.수천년동안 반도의 연안을 짓밟고 노략질하다 급기야 16세기에는 일거에 쳐들어와 7년동안우리들의 귀를 베고 코를 베고 우리의 목을 수수단 베듯 베며 기뻐하던 잔혹성을 물려받은민족이 서서히 그 피의 미학에 경도되고 있다.그 광란의 칼부림의 주인공 도요토미 히데요시를 영웅으로 받드는 민족, 남의 나라를 집어 삼키는데 앞장 선 정치가를 그들 지폐에 담아 존경하는 민족, 창조주 신앙에 공감하지 못하고 그들의 조상들을 신으로 받드는 민족, 그들이 바로 우리 남쪽에서 세계 최고의 물질문명을 구가하고있다.대동아 전쟁의 폐허를 딛고 일어나 6.25동란을 이용해 거대한 부를 축적한 후세계시장을 제패하더니 이제는 그들이 가진 돈으로 수많은 다른 나라들을 지배하고있다.돈의 지배를 일단락지은 그들은 이제는 공공연하게그들이 죄없는 다른 나라들을 침략해 살육하는 과정에서 목숨을 잃었던 자국의 병사들을 그들의 조국을 수호하고오늘날의 번영을 있게해 준 애국자들이라고 찬양하고있다.정교(精巧)와 치밀(緻密)과 효율화된 조직을 앞세워 러일전쟁, 중일전쟁을 깜짝승리로 이끌고 더 나아가 미소(美蘇)마저 발아래 굴복시켜 세계 1등 국민으로 군림하려했던 70년전 그들의 화려한 꿈을 실현하고자 극우파를 지도자로 선출하는 민족, 그들이 우리 남쪽 가장 가까이서 바둑판처럼 잘 정비된 거리를 파도같은 인파로 메우며 우리를 36년간 짐승같은 노예로 삼았던 그 시절로 되돌리기 위한 기회를 호시탐탐 노리고 있다.People close from us to the south of our peninsula keep us from going to sleep. We respected scholarship, wasting time with empty talks,but they respected martial arts and pursued substantiality. Their cruelty has been inherited to their descendantswho are now slowly tilting toward the esthetics of bloodshed.They idlolize Toyotomi Hideyoshi, the frenetic sword-wielder, print on their paper money the portrait of the politician who stood in the vanguard to swallow other countries, worship their ancestors with no empathy for Creator God, and sing joy of world-class civilization right down our south.Rising from the ruins of the Greater East Asia War, they amassed enormous wealth by taking advantage of Korean War, conquered world market to rule many nations with their money now.Finalizing the stage of ruling other nations with money,they now publicly praise their soldiers who lost their liveswhile slaughtering many innocent lives in the aggressional war against the unprepared countries as patriots who defended their motherland to bring them their today's prosperity.To realize their fancy dream of 70 years ago of lording over all other nations in the capacity of the only first class nation by subjugating even the U.S. and U.S.S.R after their surprise victory over Russia and China by virtue of elaborateness, precision and efficient organization, they elect extreme rightists as their leaders, crowd their streetslike sea waves well arranged like a go board at the closest distance from us to the south, vigilantly awaitingthe chance to bring us back to the beastly slavery of 36 years.
