재앙이 가득차면 패하니 하늘은 어둡고 땅은 막막하기만 하며
질풍과 폭우에 하늘에선 우뢰가 크게 일어나 벽력이 치는 곳에 온몸이 모두 타 버린다.

  When calamity reaches its fullness, ruin follows:

  the sky turns dark and the earth grows desolate. Amid strong gales and torrential downpours,

  great thunder rolls from the heavens, and where the lightning strikes, the entire body is burnt away.

禍盈則敗라 天地溟漠하고 (화영즉패라 천지명막하고)

  When misfortune reaches its fullness, ruin follows; heaven and earth turn dark and desolate,

疾風暴雨에 天雷大發하여 (질풍폭우에 천뢰대발하여)

  Amid fierce gales and torrential rain, heavenly thunder erupts with great force,

霹靂響處에 全身燒燼이니라. (벽력향처에 전신소신이니라.)

  And where the thunderbolt strikes with a roar, the entire body is burned to ashess.
