<P>Usually Friday is my free day as I don't have any classes.</P>
<P>I was supposed to go hiking to 북한mountain with my English class friends this morning.</P>
<P>But the weather forcast yesterday said"It will rain today"So we canceled our plan.</P>
<P> </P>
<P>Instead of that I made a reservation at the hair salon to get a perm(to have my hair permed).</P>
<P>For a long time,over 10 years I had not got(gotten?) a perm.</P>
<P>Because I didn't like spending time and money on my hair.</P>
<P>Also I liked my old hair style.</P>
<P>But recently some people including my younger sister suggested to me to get a perm.</P>
<P>They think my straight hair style doesn't look good for my age~~.</P>
<P>I thought that might be a good idea for a change in autumn.</P>
<P>That hair salon is popular among young people.</P>
<P>Because of giving good value for money.</P>
<P>I asked my hair dresser to make a loose perm for me.</P>
<P>After one and half hour,my perm process was over and I saw the mirror.</P>
<P>Ah my God!!! there was a country style woman looking funny~~.</P>
<P>I was so disappointed with my hair style.</P>
<P>I regreted having got(gotten) a perm.</P>
<P> </P>
<P>After that I met my sister,she consoled me giving her own experience.</P>
<P>She also got a perm there not long before.</P>
<P>But soon her curly hair became natural.</P>
<P>I truely hope my hair becomes natural as soon as possible.</P>

첫댓글Hi princess Pumkin, you looked very cute like a princess in a comic book. A few days ago, I had my hair cut and my daughter made a fool of me. She said my hair was too short and looked like a man. But I talked to her I wanted to change my style. As people get older, they are afraid of change such as hair style,clothes and habit. How about you? Veronica

I can understand what you are afraid of. I am also scaried of being showed as a typical 아줌마 like you. It's a very ironical and funny thing because I'm already 아줌마.
ㅋㅋ That's right we are already 아줌마~~ !! but I dont think our English class mates have the typical symptoms of 아줌마 in Korea.our mental age are quite young with a passion to learn!!That's why I like this class!!
