대상14:1

신앙 생활은 기도를 오래 하는지, 금식을 자주 하는지, 묵상을 깊이 하느냐에 관한 것이 아닙니다. 물론 유의미한 일들이지만 그보다 우선이 되는 본질은 무엇인지 성찰 할 필요가 있습니다. 다윗이 전쟁을 앞두고 하나님게 묻고 승리한 것이 기도를 많이 하면 승리한다는 뜻일까. 다윗 성을 짓고 블레셋과 전투에서 승리하면서 왕권이 굳건했을 때 법궤를 예루살렘 다윗 성으로 가져오려는 것이 사무엘서의 관점이었습니다.

The life of faith is not about whether you pray for a long time, fast often, or meditate deeply. Of course, these are meaningful things, but we need to reflect on what is the essence that comes before them. Did David ask God before the war and win mean that if he prayed a lot, he would win? Samuel's point of view was to build the David Castle and bring the ark to Jerusalem's David Castle when the king's authority was strong by winning the battle with the Philistine.

사사 시대부터 이스라엘을 끊임없이 위협하며, 또 사울에게 큰 패배를 안겼던 블레셋이 이번에 다윗을 향해 총 공세를 펼칩니다. 하지만 하나님께 묻지 않고(13:3)자신의 모략과 무기로만 싸우던 사울과는 달리, 다윗은 ’먼저‘ 하나님께 묻고 하나님만 의지하고 하나님의 명령에 순종합니다. 이에 블레셋은 크게 패퇴하여 의지했던 ’그들의 우상‘마저 버리고 혼비백산 달아납니다. 다윗은 그 우상을 불태움으로써 우상으로 오염된 가나안 땅에 ’하나님의 주권‘을 드러냅니다.

기도와 순종은 하나님 하나님의 통치를 구하는 일이며 동시에 구현하는 길입니다. 이런 차원에서 기도와 순종 외에는 영적 승리의 비결이 없고, 거룩한 명성(17)을 지키는 길도 없을 것입니다. 블레셋이 다시 쳐들어왔지만 다윗은 이번에도 먼저 하나님께 묻고(찾고) 하나님의 구체적인 지시에 따라 수행합니다. 사울처럼 한 번의 승리에 자만하거나 방심 하지 않았습니다. 나는 수시로 엄습하는 수많은 적들과 상대하기 전에 먼저, 그리고 늘, 하나님을 대면하였는가? 하나님이 친히 통치하실 때 우리의 역할은 무엇인가?

Prayer and obedience are both ways to seek and embody the rule of God. In this respect, there will be no secret to spiritual victory except prayer and obedience, and there will be no way to keep the holy reputation (17). The Philistine has invaded again, but David first asks (find) God (and this time, he does it according to God's specific instructions. Like Saul, I was not proud of my victory or let my guard down. Have I faced God first and always, before dealing with numerous enemies that are often coming? What is our role in God's personality?

주님, 성공한 사람 주변으로 사람들이 몰려드는 것은 인지상정입니다. 히람도 블레셋도 오고 박수 소리도 들려오지만 박수라고 다 복이 아니고 비난이라고 다 재앙이 아니니 평탄할 때 겸손하고 힘들 때 하나님을 의지하게 허옵소서. 물었으니 끝까지 가게 하소서.

Lord, it is human nature for people to flock around a successful person. Hiram and Philistine come and I hear applause, but applause is not a blessing, but criticism is not a disaster, so humility when you are flat and rely on God when you are struggling. I asked, so let me go until the end.
