HJ CheonBo Event - About the Hyojeong Won

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Thank you for joining us at the HJ Cheonbo event this coming weekend.

We would like to take a moment to share about the special opportunity to inherit a Hyojeong Won this Saturday. The Hyojeong Won is a House of Absolute Good Spirits. This is a special stone house for your Blessed ancestors, where they can dwell after their 40-day Blessing workshop, and after their welcome home ceremony.

Rev. Mark Hernandez was one of the first to stand up and say he would like to inherit a Hyojeong Won in IPEC last June. He later described his experience when his family first inaugurated their Hyojeong Won and welcomed their Blessed ancestors:

“My wife and I were fortunate to inherit a Hyojeong Won in a bequeathing ceremony with the President of HJ CheonBo last June at IPEC, when only 21 houses were brought to America, and we are so happy and grateful we did. We feel the daily presence of Heaven in our home more than ever. Something mysteriously pulls our family members and guests into the room where we have it atop our upright grand piano, which serves as our altar.

It was so special to welcome our ancestors into their own mini Cheon Jeong Gung - right in the center of our home - after they completed their 40-day Blessing workshop and we held their homecoming ceremony! Since we had already blessed many generations of our two lineages before those that we were welcoming home, we imagined and called forth a procession of Absolute Good Ancestors beginning from the first generation making their entrance into this grand palace. From that holy place, they are free to help us as we ask them to, and to provide guidance and protection for us in specific areas of concern, especially that of the welfare of our spiritual and physical tribe on earth.”

The Hyojeong Won can only be inherited in a bequeathing ceremony by the HJ CheonBo staff. We will hold the 2nd American Hyojeong Won Inheritance Ceremony on Saturday, October 5.

A Brief History of Hyojeong Won:

On January 13, 2001, True Parents held the Coronation of God’s Kingship. On that day, God could truly come down to earth. The absolute good spirits, who were surrounding God that day, were the ancestors from 1-7, 8-14 and 15-21 generations, who had been Blessed by that time. Henceforth, the absolute good ancestors were given a public role of protecting and securing the surrounding of God whenever He would come down on earth and go back to heaven.

Through the entrance and inauguration ceremony of Cheon Jeong Gung on June 13, 2006, the era when God could freely come back and forth between heaven and earth has arrived. Our absolute good ancestors then received the glory and providence of directly serving God. The absolute good ancestors could then feel gratitude towards their descendants, because they were able to serve God. However, even though God had a house where HE could settle, He was worried that the ancestors did not have a place to settle in heaven and on earth. Therefore, in 2006 the House of Absolute Good Spirits was established. The inheritance ceremony of the House of Absolute Good Spirits began in Japan in 2007, and spread to the world from 2009.

In 2015, True Mother gave a special benediction and changed the name of this house to the Cheon Il Guk House of Absolute Good Spirits. After this benediction, a blessing was given so that wherever the descendants move, their new place will be automatically purified by their CIG House of Good Spirits. On May 14, 2018, True Mother changed the name from Cheon Il Guk house of absolute good spirits to Hyojeong Won. Hyojeong is where parents and children dwell together, and the children fulfill their filial piety to their parents. This is the vertical ancestor liberation and blessing of 430 generations, and the horizontal foundation of victory for 430 blessed families. With this victorious foundation, we welcome God and declare the era of serving our parents and Heavenly Parent. That is why True Parents bestowed this blessing of Hyojeong Won.
