Question: Teachers often ask school administrators for permission to take their students on field trips (for example, to musiums or historical buidings). Some school administrators provide funding and encouragement for teachers to organize educational trips for the entire class. Many believe that going on field trips is an important part of a child's education; others think that a child's time is better spent learning in a classroom at school. Which view do you agree with? Why?

Absolutely, there would be pros and cons on this matter, but I'm positive that going on a field trip at least twice a year is very beneficial to almost all of the students from elementary school to hish school. This is because they can directly experience many different things that they've never met during class. They can be very unique artifacts or gigantic sized scultures in the musium or natural surroundings like mysterious caves. Therefore, such first hand experiences definitely will positively influence their classes and also might lead them to have a dream related with the field trips they've experienced. I can prove this from my experience. When I was a middle school, all of the students including myself were given an opportunity to visit a musium in Seoul. Although it was quite a long trip from my hometown to the big city, it worked very positively not only for many other students but also for me. Since then, I've been more fascinated by natuaral science field, especially biology. It helped me make a decision for my majoy subject in college: biology. Thanks to such field, I'm dreaming of becoming a biologist in the future. (196)
