2025년도 이제 마감을 준비해야 할 시간이 다가옵니다.

저는 2025년을 다음과 같이 정의하며 달력을 덮고 싶습니다

『25년에 가장 핫하게 많이 사용된 단어 AI의 한계가 극에 달한 한 해였다』

그렇다면 2026년을 정의하기 위해서는 AI가 놓치고 있는 점들에 대하여 고민해볼 필요가 있다는 이야기가 되겠습니다.

AI는 놀라운 발전을 이루었지만, 여전히 여러 가지 중요한 점들을 놓치고 있거나 해결해야 할 근본적인 한계에 직면해 있습니다.  

첫째. 여러분이 과신하는 AI는 놀랍게도 ‘기술적 및 인지적 한계’를 근본적으로 가지고 있습니다.

AI는 상식(Common Sense)이 부족합니다. 설마라고 반문하시겠지만 AI는 방대한 데이터를 기반으로 학습하지만, 인간이 자연스럽게 이해하는 일상적인 상식이나 상황 추론 능력은 여전히 부족합니다. 이로 인해 문맥을 완전히 이해하지 못하거나 예상치 못한 오류를 범할 수 있는데, 2025년 한국과 호주는 특히 이러한 AI오류가 인간의 최고 행위인 정치분야에서 극대화된 100년에 한 번 나올까 말까 하는 오류의 해라고 저는 정의합니다.

AI는 진정한 이해 및 인과관계 추론 불가하기도 합니다. AI는 패턴 인식에 뛰어나지만, 입력된 정보의 복잡한 의미를 인간처럼 진정으로 이해하거나 사건 간의 인과관계를 스스로 추론하고 판단하는 능력은 부족합니다.

창의력과 상상력의 한계는 AI가 가진 중요한 본질이라는 점을 잊지 마십시오. AI는 기존 데이터를 편집하고 조합하여 정보를 생성할 뿐, 인간 고유의 호기심에서 비롯된 근본적인 질문이나 고뇌, 새로운 아이디어 창출과 같은 상상력과 창의력을 발휘하기는 어렵습니다.

AI는 경험과 성찰의 부재로 이루어진 눈속임 알고리듬일 뿐입니다.(2025년이라는 시간이 그랬듯이 말입니다) AI는 직접 몸으로 경험하고 시행착오를 겪으며 얻는 '지혜'나 '성찰'의 과정을 거치지 않습니다. 이는 AI가 제공하는 정보가 피상적인 '냄새'에 그칠 수 있음을 의미합니다.

2025년이 만들어낸 윤리적 및 사회적 문제는 매우 심각하다는 게 저의 뷰입니다. 이는 한국 및 호주 등 국제 사회의 문제이고 또한 AI의 문제이기도 합니다.

데이터 편향성 및 알고리즘의 불투명성은 2025년 한국과 호주 등 국제사회의 부끄러운 현실이었다는 점을 직시하기 바랍니다.

AI 학습에 사용되는 데이터에 편향이 포함되어 있으면, AI 시스템도 편향된 결과를 도출할 수 있습니다. 또한, AI가 특정 결정을 내리는 과정을 인간이 이해하기 어려운 '블랙박스'로 남아있어 투명성과 신뢰성 문제가 발생합니다. 자동차에도 모두들 장착하는 블랙박스가 왜 한국의 가장 중요한 곳과 호주의 가장 중요한 곳에는 없는 것입니까?

아마도 그 원인들 중의 하나는 AI에 너무 기대어 인간 능력의 퇴화 및 과도한 의존이 사회 전체에서 한국과 호주 등에서 일어났기 때문일 것입니다. AI에 대한 맹목적인 의존은 인간의 독립적, 비판적 사고 능력과 문제 해결 능력을 약화시킬 수 있습니다.

2026년을 마주하는 우리는 ‘인간 고유의 영역 간과’가 만들어낸 텅 빈 이 사회 공간의 존재에 대해 바라보아야 할 것입니다.

감정, 공감, 인간관계의 이해 부족은 과연 2026년에도 25년처럼 왜곡되어 나타날 경우 어떠한 일들이 벌어질 거 같습니까?

AI는 강력한 도구이지만, 인간 고유의 인지적, 감성적 능력과 사회적, 윤리적 측면을 간과할 때 여러 문제점을 야기할 수 있습니다.

마찬가지로 한국과 호주 등에서 부끄럽게 진행되는 이 눈속임 2025년 알고리듬은 성찰의 부재를 뜻합니다.

성찰의 부재가 사회 전반에 익숙해지게 되면, 그 말은 그 사회가 ‘죽은 사회’에 가까워짐가 의미합니다.

그리고 이 정도 중병이 심화된 환자에게는 중환자실에 들어가서 수술만이 유일한 해결책이 될 수 있다는 점을 직시해야 할 것입니다.

Don't forget that the limits of creativity and imagination are an important part of AI. AI only creates information by editing and combining existing data, but it is difficult to exercise imagination and creativity, such as fundamental questions, concerns, and creation of new ideas that arise from inherent human curiosity.

AI is a powerful tool, but it can cause many problems when the unique cognitive and emotional abilities and social and ethical aspects of humans are overlooked.
