<p>AI was used to impersonate Secretary of the State Marco Rubio to contact foreign and US officials.</p><p>The State Department is warning US diplomats of attemps to impersonate Rubio and possibly other officials using artificial Intelligence.</p><p>The Department discovered that an impostor posing as Rubio attemped to reach out at least 3 foreign ministers, a U.S. senator and a governor.</p><p>It's the latest incident of a high-level Trump administration figure targeted by impersonator.</p><p>President Trump's chief of staff Susie Wiles had a similar incident in May.</p><p>The State Department says it's investigating the impersonation.</p><p>I'm Haya Panjwani, Washington.</p>
