에스겔39장 말씀입니다.

[사랑하는 나의 가족]

1. 그러므로 사람의 아들아, 너는 곡을 대적하여 대언하며 이르기를, [주] {하나님}이 이같이 말하노라. 보라, 오 메섹과 두발의 최고 통치자 곡아, 내가 너를 대적하노라.

Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I [am] against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:

2. 내가 너를 뒤로 돌이켜서 너의 육분의 일만 남기며 너를 북쪽 지역에서 올라오게 하여 이스라엘의 산들 위로 데려다가

And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel: 

3. 네 활을 쳐서 네 왼손에서 떠나게 하고 네 화살들을 네 오른손에서 떨어뜨리리라.

And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.

4. 너 곧 너와 네 모든 떼와 너와 함께한 모든 백성이 이스라엘의 산들 위에 쓰러지리니 내가 너를 온갖 굶주린 새와 들의 짐승들에게 주어 삼키게 하리라.

Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that [is] with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and [to] the beasts of the field to be devoured. 

5. 네가 빈 들판에 쓰러지리니 내가 그것을 말하였느니라. [주] {하나님}이 말하노라.

Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken [it], saith the Lord GOD. 

6. 또 내가 불을 마곡에 보내며 섬들에서 염려 없이 거하는 자들 가운데로 보내리니 내가 {주}인 줄을 그들이 알리라.

And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I [am] the LORD. 

7. 이와 같이 내가 내 거룩한 이름을 내 백성 이스라엘의 한가운데서 알리며 그들이 다시는 내 거룩한 이름을 더럽히지 아니하게 하리니 내가 {주} 곧 이스라엘에 있는 [거룩한 자]인 줄을 이교도들이 알리라.

So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not [let them] pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I [am] the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.

8. [주] {하나님}이 말하노라. 보라, 그것이 이르렀으며 그것이 이루어졌도다. 이것이 내가 말한 그 날이니라.

Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this [is] the day whereof I have spoken.

9. 이스라엘의 도시들에 거하는 자들이 나아가서 무기들 곧 큰 방패와 작은 방패와 활과 화살과 몽둥이와 창에 불을 놓아 칠 년 동안 그것들을 불로 태우리라.

And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years: 

10. 이와 같이 그들이 불로 그 무기들을 태울 터이므로 들에서 나무를 가져오지 아니하며 숲에서 아무것도 베지 아니하고 자기들을 노략하던 자들을 노략하며 전에 자기들 것을 탈취해 가던 자들을 탈취하리라. [주] {하나님}이 말하노라.

So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down [any] out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord GOD.

11. 그 날에 내가 곡을 위하여 이스라엘에서 무덤이 될 곳을 거기에 주되 바다의 동쪽에 있는 통행자들의 골짜기를 주리니 그것이 통행자들의 코를 막을 것이요, 거기서 그들이 곡과 그의 모든 무리를 묻고 그곳을 하몬곡의 골짜기라 부르리라.

And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the [noses] of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call [it] The valley of Hamongog. 

12. 이스라엘의 집이 일곱 달 동안 그들을 묻어 그 땅을 정결하게 하겠고

And seven months shall the house of Israel be burying of them, that they may cleanse the land.

13. 참으로 그 땅의 모든 백성이 그들을 묻으리니 그것이 그 날 곧 내가 영광을 얻는 날에 그들에게 명성이 되리라. [주] {하나님}이 말하노라.

Yea, all the people of the land shall bury [them]; and it shall be to them a renown the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord GOD.

14. 그들이 계속해서 일할 자들을 따로 구별하고 그 땅을 지나다니며 통행자들과 더불어 지면에 남아 있는 자들을 묻어 그곳을 정결하게 하고 또 일곱 달이 끝난 뒤에 그들이 살피리라.

And they shall sever out men of continual employment, passing through the land to bury with the passengers those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they search. 

15. 또 그 땅을 지나다니는 통행자들 중에서 어떤 사람이 사람의 뼈를 보면 그 옆에 푯말을 세우되 묻는 자들이 하몬곡 골짜기에 그것을 묻을 때까지 그리할 것이요,

And the passengers [that] pass through the land, when [any] seeth a mans bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamongog. 

16. 그 도시의 이름도 하모나가 되리라. 그들이 이와 같이 그 땅을 정결하게 하리라.

And also the name of the city [shall be] Hamonah. Thus shall they cleanse the land. 

17. [주] {하나님}이 이같이 말하노라. 사람의 아들아, 너는 깃털 가진 모든 날짐승과 들의 모든 짐승에게 이르기를, 너희는 모여서 오라. 너희는 사방에서 모이되 내가 너희를 위하여 희생시키는 내 희생물 곧 이스라엘의 산들 위에 있는 큰 희생물에게로 모여 살을 먹으며 피를 마실지어다.

And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, [even] a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood. 

18. 너희가 힘 센 자들의 살을 먹으며 땅의 통치자들의 피를 마시고 바산의 모든 살진 짐승 곧 숫양과 어린양과 염소와 수소의 살과 피도 먹고 마실지니라.

Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan. 

19. 또 내가 너희를 위하여 희생시킨 내 희생물의 기름을 너희가 배부르도록 먹으며 그 피를 취하도록 마시고

And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.

20. 이와 같이 내 상에서 말과 병거와 용사와 모든 전사로 배를 채울지니라. [주] {하나님}이 말하노라.

Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD.

21. 내가 내 영광을 이교도들 가운데 두어 모든 이교도들이 내가 집행한 심판과 내가 그들 위에 얹은 내 손을 보게 하리니

And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.

22. 이로써 그 날 이후로는 이스라엘의 집이 내가 {주} 곧 자기들의 [하나님]인 줄을 알리라.

So the house of Israel shall know that I [am] the LORD their God from that day and forward.

23. 또 이교도들은 이스라엘의 집이 그들의 불법으로 인하여 포로로 사로잡혀 간 줄을 알리니 이는 그들이 나를 대적하고 범법하였으므로 내가 내 얼굴을 그들에게 숨기고 그들을 그들의 원수들의 손에 넘겨주어 칼에 쓰러지게 하였기 때문이라.

And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword.

24. 내가 그들의 부정함과 그들의 범죄들에 따라 그들에게 행하였으며 내 얼굴을 그들에게 숨겼느니라.

According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them.

25. 그러므로 [주] {하나님}이 이같이 말하노라. 이제 내가 야곱의 포로 된 것을 다시 데려오고 이스라엘의 온 집에게 긍휼을 베풀며 내 거룩한 이름을 위하여 질투하리라.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;

26. 그들이 자기들의 수치와 자기들이 나를 대적하며 범한 모든 범법을 담당한 뒤에 자기들의 땅에서 안전히 거하고 아무도 그들을 두렵게 하지 않을 때에

After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made [them] afraid.

27. 곧 내가 그들을 다시 백성들에게서 데려오고 그들의 원수들의 땅에서 그들을 모으며 또 내가 많은 민족들의 눈앞에서 그들 가운데서 거룩히 구별될 때에

When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;

28. 그들이 내가 {주} 곧 자기들의 [하나님]인 줄을 알리라. 내가 그들을 이교도들 가운데서 포로가 되어 끌려가게 하였으나 그들의 땅으로 그들을 모으고 다시는 그들 가운데 하나도 거기에 남겨 두지 아니하였느니라.

Then shall they know that I [am] the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there. 

29. 또 내가 다시는 내 얼굴을 그들에게 숨기지 아니하리니 내가 내 영을 이스라엘의 집 위에 쏟아 부었느니라. [주] {하나님}이 말하노라.

Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.
