요엘2장 말씀입니다.

[바이블 애플] KJV 흠정역 요엘2장

1. 너희는 시온에서 나팔을 불며 내 거룩한 산에서 경고의 소리를 내어 그 땅의 모든 거주민들이 떨게 하라. {주}의 날이 이르느니라. 그 날이 매우 가까우니

Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for [it is] nigh at hand; 

2. 곧 어둡고 캄캄한 날이요, 구름이 끼고 짙은 흑암이 덮인 날이라. 이 날은 아침이 산들 위로 퍼지는 것 같으니 이는 크고 강한 백성으로 인함이라. 이와 같은 것이 지금까지 없었고 그것 이후에도 많은 세대의 여러 햇수에 이르도록 없으리로다.

A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, [even] to the years of many generations. 

3. 불이 그들의 앞에서 삼키고 불꽃이 그들의 뒤에서 태우는도다. 그 땅이 그들이 이르기 전에는 에덴 동산 같으나 그들이 이른 뒤에는 황폐한 광야 같으니 참으로 아무것도 그들을 피하지 못하리로다.

A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land [is] as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.

4. 그들의 모양은 말의 모양 같고 그들의 달리는 것은 기병 같으며

The appearance of them [is] as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.

5. 그들의 뛰는 것은 산꼭대기에서 나는 병거 소리 같고 지푸라기를 삼키는 불꽃 소리와도 같으며 강한 백성이 전열을 갖추고 싸우는 것 같으니

Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.

6. 그들의 얼굴 앞에서 백성들이 크게 고통을 받으며 모든 얼굴이 검게 되리라.

Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness. 

7. 그들이 용사같이 달리고 군사같이 성벽을 오르며 각각 자기 길로 전진하고 자기 줄을 흐트러뜨리지 아니하며

They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:

8. 서로 밀치지 아니하고 그들이 각각 자기 길로 걸으며 칼에 넘어져도 상하지 아니하리라.

Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and [when] they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded. 

9. 그들이 그 도시에서 이리저리 달려가며 성벽 위에서 달려가고 집 위로 올라가며 도둑같이 창문을 통해 들어가리니

They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.

10. 그들 앞에서 땅이 진동하고 하늘들이 떨며 해와 달이 어두워지고 별들이 빛을 내던 것을 거두리로다.

The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:

11. {주}께서 자신의 군대 앞에서 친히 목소리를 내시리로다. 그분의 진영은 심히 크며 자신의 말씀을 집행하시는 이는 강하시도다. {주}의 날이 크고 심히 두려우니 누가 그 날을 견디리요?

And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp [is] very great: for [he is] strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD [is] great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

12. {주}께서 이르시되, 그런즉 너희는 이제 또한 금식하고 슬피 울고 애곡하며 너희 마음을 다하여 내게로 돌아오라, 하시나니

Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye [even] to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:

13. 너희 옷을 찢지 말고 너희 마음을 찢으며 {주} 너희 [하나님]께로 돌아올지어다. 그분은 은혜로우시며 긍휼이 많으시며 분노하기를 더디 하시며 큰 친절을 베푸사 재앙에서 뜻을 돌이키시나니

And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he [is] gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.

14. 그분께서 돌아오사 뜻을 돌이키시고 복 곧 {주} 너희 [하나님]께 드리는 음식 헌물과 음료 헌물을 자신의 뒤에 남겨 두실는지 누가 알겠느냐?

Who knoweth [if] he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; [even] a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God?

15. 시온에서 나팔을 불어 금식하는 일을 거룩히 구별하고 엄숙한 집회를 소집하라.

Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:

16. 백성을 모으고 회중을 거룩히 구별하며 장로들을 소집하고 아이들과 젖 빠는 자들을 모으며 신랑은 그의 방에서 나오게 하고 신부는 그녀의 골방에서 나오게 하라.

Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.

17. 제사장들 곧 {주}를 섬기는 자들은 주랑과 제단 사이에서 울면서 이르기를, 오 {주}여, 주의 백성을 용서하옵소서. 주의 상속 백성을 치욕에 내주지 마시고 이교도들이 그들을 다스리지 못하게 하옵소서. 어찌하여 그들이 백성 가운데서, 그들의 [하나님]이 어디 있느냐, 하고 말하여야 하리이까? 할지어다.

Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where [is] their God? 

18. 그때에 {주}께서 자신의 땅을 위하여 질투하시고 자신의 백성을 불쌍히 여기시리라.

Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people.

19. 참으로 {주}께서 자신의 백성에게 응답하여 이르시기를, 보라, 내가 너희에게 곡식과 포도즙과 기름을 보내리니 너희가 그것들로 만족하리라. 내가 다시는 너희를 이교도들 가운데서 수치거리로 삼지 아니하며

Yea, the LORD will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:

20. 오히려 북쪽 군대를 너희로부터 멀리 떠나게 하여 메마르고 황폐한 땅으로 그를 쫓아내리니 그의 얼굴은 동쪽 바다를 향하고 그의 뒷부분은 맨 끝 바다를 향하리라. 그의 고약한 냄새가 올라오며 그의 악취가 올라오리니 이는 그가 큰일들을 행하였기 때문이니라, 하시리라.

But I will remove far off from you the northern [army], and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things. 

21. 오 땅이여, 두려워하지 말고 기뻐하며 즐거워하라. {주}께서 큰일들을 행하시리라.

Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things. 

22. 들의 짐승들아, 너희는 무서워하지 말라. 광야의 초장이 싹을 내고 나무가 열매를 맺으며 무화과나무와 포도나무가 힘을 내는도다.

Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.

23. 시온의 자녀들아, 너희는 그때에 즐거워하며 {주} 너희 [하나님]을 기뻐하라. 그분께서 너희에게 이른 비를 적당히 주셨으며 또 너희를 위해 비를 내려 주시되 이른 비와 첫째 달의 늦은 비를 내려 주시리니

Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first [month]. 

24. 그런즉 타작마당에는 밀이 가득하고 독에는 포도즙과 기름이 넘쳐나리로다.

And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil.

25. 내가 전에 너희 가운데로 보낸 나의 큰 군대 곧 메뚜기와 자벌레와 쐐기벌레와 털벌레가 먹은 햇수를 내가 너희에게 되돌려 주리니

And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

26. 너희가 풍족히 먹고 만족하며 너희를 놀랍게 대접한 {주} 너희 [하나님]의 이름을 찬양하리라. 내 백성이 결코 부끄러움을 당하지 아니하리로다.

And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.

27. 그런즉 내가 이스라엘의 한가운데 있으며 내가 {주} 너희 [하나님]이고 다른 이가 없는 줄을 너희가 알리라. 내 백성이 결코 부끄러움을 당하지 아니하리라.

And ye shall know that I [am] in the midst of Israel, and [that] I [am] the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.

28. 그 뒤에 내가 내 영을 모든 육체 위에 부어 주리니 너희의 아들딸들은 대언하며 너희의 늙은이들은 꿈을 꾸고 너희의 젊은이들은 환상들을 보리라.

And it shall come to pass afterward, [that] I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

29. 또 그 날들에 내가 내 영을 남종과 여종들 위에 부어 주며

And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

30. 하늘들과 땅에서 이적들을 보이리니 곧 피와 불과 연기 기둥들이로다.

And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

31. 크고 두려운 {주}의 날이 이르기 전에 해가 변하여 어둠이 되고 달이 변하여 피가 되려니와

The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.

32. 누구든지 {주}의 이름을 부르는 자는 구출을 받으리니 {주}가 말한 대로 시온 산과 예루살렘에 구출이 있으며 또 {주}가 부를 남은 자들에게도 구출이 있으리라.

And it shall come to pass, [that] whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.
