Ø RAT kits requester removed · From 1 July 2023, New Zealanders will no longer be required or able to pre-order rapid antigen test (RAT) kits via the RAT Requestor site. · Healthpoint will be the primary source of information where people can help themselves to publicly funded and free RATs available at collections sites. · The RAT Requestor line 0800 222478 will continue to operate after 1 July 2023 and will focus on providing additional support to priority and vulnerable groups, including delivery if necessary. · Telehealth services such as Healthline (0800 358 5453) and Disability Helpline (0800 11 12 13 or text 8988) will continue to provide general health information, and information and assistance with where to source RATs. · Information about where to access publicly funded, free RATs, how to use RATs and how to manage risk and exposure to COVID-19 will still be available online on Unite against COVID-19 (www.covid19.govt.nz). · Anyone in Aotearoa New Zealand can still get free RATs for personal use. If you are symptomatic or a household contact, you can now pick up a RAT kit from a collection site near you, or have someone collect it for you. |
