<P class=cna2><SPAN>SINGAPORE : The S$140-million Sentosa Express Train project is right on track. <BR><BR>Two of its four new trains pulled in to the Palawan Beach Station on Thursday. <BR><BR>Arriving straight from the factory in Japan, these trains are set to enhance Sentosa's transport system when they go operational at the end of 2006. <BR><BR>Each train can carry up to 184 passengers and it will connect the island to the Harbour Front MRT station within 6 minutes. <BR><BR>Sentosa says most of the new tracks have been laid and the stations are taking shape. <BR><BR>The Sentosa Express replaces the 23-year-old Monorail, which made its final journey in March this year. - CNA /ct</SPAN><BR></P></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
