Chapter 8

8:11 The Pharisees came and began to question Jesus. 

바리새인들이 와서 예수께 질문하기 시작했다.

To test him, they asked him for a sign from heaven.

그를 시험하므로 그들은 하늘로부터 오는 표적에 대해 그에게 물었다.

8:12 He sighed deeply and said, 그는 깊게 탄식하고 말했다.

"Why does this generation ask for a miraculous sign?

왜 이 세대가 기적적인 표적을 구하는가?

 I tell you the truth, no sign will be given to it."

내가 진실로 너희에게 말하노니 아무런 표적도 주어지지 않을 것이다.

8:13 Then he left them, 그래서 그는 그들을 떠났고

got back into the boat and crossed to the other side.

배를 타고 다른 편으로 건너갔다.

8:14 The disciples had forgotten to bring bread,

제자들이 빵을 가져오기를 잊었다.

except for one loaf they had with them in the boat. 그들이 배에서 가지고 있었던 빵 한덩어리 외에

해석 - 제자들은 배에 있었던 빵 한덩어리 외에 빵을 가져오기를 잊었다.

8:15 "Be careful," Jesus warned them. "주의하라." 예수께서 그들에게 경고하셨다.

 "Watch out for the yeast of the Pharisees and that of Herod."

바리새인들과 헤롯의 누룩을 주의하라.

8:16 They discussed this with one another and said, 

그들은 서로 이것을 의논하여 말하기를 

"It is because we have no bread." 그것은우리가 빵이 없기 때문이다.

8:17 Aware of their discussion, Jesus asked them:

그들의 토론을 인식하시고서 예수께서 그들에게 물으셨다.

"Why are you talking about having no bread? 

왜 빵이 없음에 대해 말하느냐?

Do you still not see or understand? 

너희는 여전히 보지 못하고 이해하지 못하느냐?

Are your hearts hardened? 너희의 마음이 굳어졌느냐?

8:18 Do you have eyes but fail to see, and ears but fail to hear? 

너희가 눈은 있으나 보기를 실패하고 귀가 있으나 듣기를 실패하느냐?

And don't you remember? 그리고 너희는 기억하지 못하느냐?

8:19 When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, 

내가 오천명을 위하여 다섯 덩어리의 빵을 뗄때

how many basketfuls of pieces did you pick up(집어들다)?" 

얼마나 많은 빵조각의 바구니를 너희가 거두었느냐? 

"Twelve," they replied. "열둘입니다." 그들이 대답했다.

8:20 "And when I broke the seven loaves for the four thousand, 

그리고 내가 4천명을 위하여 일곱개의 빵덩어리를 떼었을 때

how many basketfuls of pieces did you pick up?"

얼마나 많은 빵조각의 바구니들을 너희가 거두었느냐?

They answered, "Seven." 그들이 대답하기를 "일곱입니다."

8:21 He said to them, 그가 그들에게 말씀하셨다.

"Do you still not understand?" 너희는 여전히 이해하지 못하느냐?
