전도서12장 말씀입니다.

[바이블 애플] KJV 흠정역 전도서12장

1. 이제 젊은 시절에 네 [창조주]를 기억하라. 곧 재난의 날들이 이르기 전에 혹은 네가 말하기를, 내가 이 해들을

    기뻐하지 아니하노라, 하는 그런 해들이 가까이 이르기 전에

Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;

2. 해와 빛과 달과 별들이 어두워지기 전에 혹은 비가 온 뒤에 구름들이 되돌아오기 전에 기억하라.

While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain:

3. 그 날에는 집을 지키는 자들이 떨며 강한 자들이 자신을 구부리고 맷돌 가는 자들이 적으므로 그치며 창문들로

    내다보는 자들이 어두워지리라.

In the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble, and the strong men shall bow themselves, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those that look out of the windows be darkened, 

4. 또 맷돌 가는 소리가 낮아질 때에 문들이 거리에서 닫히며 새 소리에 그가 일어나고 음악 하는 모든 딸들이 쇠하게

    되리라.

And the doors shall be shut in the streets, when the sound of the grinding is low, and he shall rise up at the voice of the bird, and all the daughters of musick shall be brought low;

5. 또한 그들이 높이 있는 것을 무서워하며 두려움들이 길에 있고 아몬드나무가 무성하며 메뚜기가 짐이 되고 욕구가

    그치리로다. 이는 사람이 멀리 있는 자기 집으로 돌아가며 애곡하는 자들이 거리들로 다니기 때문이로다.

Also [when] they shall be afraid of [that which is] high, and fears [shall be] in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish, and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and desire shall fail: because man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets:

6. 혹은 은줄이 풀리고 금 그릇이 깨지고 물 항아리가 샘에서 깨지고 바퀴가 물 저장고에서 깨지기 전에 기억할지니

Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.

7. 그때에 흙은 전에 있던 대로 땅으로 돌아가며 영은 그것을 주신 [하나님]께로 돌아가리로다.

Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

8. 전도자가 말하노니, 헛되고 헛되며 모든 것이 헛되도다.

Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher; all [is] vanity.

9. 또한 전도자는 지혜로우므로 여전히 백성에게 지식을 가르쳤고 참으로 그가 크게 주의를 기울이고 탐구하여 많은

    잠언을 정리하였노라.

And moreover, because the preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yea, he gave good heed, and sought out, [and] set in order many proverbs. 

10. 전도자는 애를 써서 받아들일 만한 말씀들을 찾았는데 여기 기록된 것은 올바른 것이요 곧 진리의 말씀들이로다.

The preacher sought to find out acceptable words: and [that which was] written [was] upright, [even] words of truth. 

11. 지혜로운 자들의 말씀들은 가시 채들 같고 집회의 스승들이 굳게 박은 못들 같나니 이것들은 한 목자께서 주신

      것이니라.

The words of the wise [are] as goads, and as nails fastened [by] the masters of assemblies, [which] are given from one shepherd.

12. 내 아들아, 또한 이 말씀들로 권고를 받으라. 많은 책을 짓는 것은 끝이 없고 많이 공부하는 것은 육체를 피곤하게

      하느니라.

And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books [there is] no end; and much study [is] a weariness of the flesh. 

13. 우리가 전체 일의 결론을 들을지니 [하나님]을 두려워하고 그분의 명령들을 지킬지어다. 이것이 사람의 온전한

      의무이니라.

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this [is] the whole [duty] of man. 

14. [하나님]께서 모든 은밀한 일과 더불어 선한 일이든 악한 일이든 모든 일을 심판하시리라.

For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether [it be] good, or whether [it be] evil.
