제1장.上經(상경) 21訓(훈) 157事(사). 제1 강령 성(誠).....정성.....第1事(제1事) 제4체 不息(불식)...... 쉬지 않음.......第29事  Part 4 : Bul - sik(不息,불식)... Never resting... Item 29.     Bul - sik(不息 불식,- Ceaselessness) means that ultimate sincerity never rests.   "Not resting" (continuous effort) and "the compiete absence of rest"(inherent movement)    are fundamentally different from one another.    between the power of the Dao(the Way) surging forward and its crouching down    (gathering strength),    and between human desires fading away and multiplying,    even if the gapbetween them is as minuscule as a speck of dusst,    the ultimate difference becomes as vast as the distance between heaven and earth.   [Original Classical Text]      ■ 不息者는 至誠不息也라 (불식자는 지성불식야라)         Ceaselessness means that ultimate sincerity dose not rest.       ■ 不息과 及無息이 各自有異하니 (불식과 급무식이 각자유이하니)         "Ceaselessmess" and "having no rest" each have their own distinct differences.       ■ 其在道力之奮蹲과 人慾之消長하야는 (기재도력 지분준과 인욕지소장하야는)          When it comes to the power of the Daosurging and crouching,          and human desires fading and growing,      ■ 纖毫之隔이 相去天壤也니라. (섬호지격이 상거천양야니라.)         A separation as fine as a hair results in a distance as wide as heaven and earth.   『 Part 4 : Bul -sik( Ceaselessness) ―Item 29.       "Bul - sik(不息,불식) means that ultimatee, supreme sinceerity never pauses or rests.       There is a profound distinction between actively 'not resting' and the state of "having no rest' at all.        Whether the power of the Dao is dynamically surging forward or crouching          forward or crouching to gather its strength,         and whether human desire is diminishing or expanding ― even if the boundary separating          these states is as microscopic as a single hair or a speck of dust,          the ultimate consequence of that tiny difference becomes as vast as the expanse          between heaven and earth."』
