Inflation across the country eased in May the for a second straight month, a that hopeful sign that a pick up in prices that have occured early this year may have passed
The government says consumer prices excluding volutile volatile food and energy cost lost rose 0.2 % from April to May.
That was down from 0 .3% from the previous month it was smallest increase since October.
overall inflation also slowed less last month with consumer prices unchanged from April to May, in part, because of shop sharp falls in cost of gas, air fares and new cars.
