어제 그제 지방 출장 다녀오느라 이제 올려요.

오쇼의 산야스 이름 급히 번역해서 올려봤어요.

다들 영어 잘 하시고 원문도 첨부했으니 자기만의 해석으로 의미를 가져가시길

다리미님 =마 아난드 라다

아난드 라다. 아난드는 “지복의”, 라다는 크리쉬나 연인의 이름이다. 역사적인 인물이 아니고 하나의 은유이다. 대단히 의미심장한 단어이다.

강이, 그 원천에서 궁극지를 향해, 곧 바다를 향해 흘러갈 때를 “드하라”라고 한다. 만약에 강이 뒤로 돌아갈 수 있다면, 바다가 아니라 그 원천 자체를 향해 갈 수 있다면 그것을 “라다”라고 한다.

드하라Dhara 를 뒤에서 쓰면 라다radha가 된다. 라다는 곧 ‘기원을 찾고 있는 자’라는 뜻이다. 우리가 나온 바로 그 근원을 찾는 자이다. 그리고 원천을 찾는 유일한 방법은 존재의 연인이 되는 것이다.

크리쉬나는 존재를 대표하며 그 연인인 라다는 존재하는 모든 것과 거대한 사랑에 빠진 자를 대표한다. 사랑은 삶의 기원, 바로 그 시작으로 되돌아가는 유일한 길이다. 시작이 곧 끝이기 때문이다. 그리고 그대의 원천적인 근원으로 간다는 것은 바로 모든 불행으로부터 해방되는 것이다. 그대가 누구인지 안다면 그대는 곧 집에 왔다.

(Anand Radha. Anand means blissful, Radha is the name of Krishna's beloved. Radha was not an historical person; it is a metaphor. It is a very significant word.

In Sanskrit, when the river moves towards the sea, from the origin to the goal, it is called dhara. If the river can move backwards, not towards the sea but towards the origin itself, then it is called radha.

Dhara written backwards becomes radha. Radha simply means one who has started searching for the origin, for the very source from where we are coming. And the only way to reach to the source is to become a lover of existence.

Krishna represents the existence, and radha, the beloved, represents one who is in tremendous love with all that is. Love is the way to move back to the origin of life, to the very beginning, because the beginning is the end. And to come upon your original source is to be free from all misery. To know who you are is to come home.)

이랑님= 마 프렘 우드기타

프렘 우드기타Prem Udgita, 사랑의 love song라는 뜻이다.

사랑은 노래이다. 가슴의 노래, 그대의 가장 내밀한 핵심의 노래이다. 사랑이 태어나지 않았다면 그대는 태어나지 않은 것이다. 그대가 영혼을 얻는 것은 사랑을 통해서이다. 그대가 육체를 넘어선 어떤 것, 물질을 넘어선 어떤 것, 말들을 넘어선 어떤 것을 느끼기 시작하는 것은 오직 사랑을 통해서이다. 바로 그 넘어섬이 신이다. 때문에 사랑은 이편과 저편, 이곳 물가 차안과 저편 물가  피안 사이의 다리가 된다. 그대는 사랑을 통해서만 신성한 것을 만나러 갈 수가 있다.

그대는 천가지 하고도 한 가지 더의 것들을 실천해 볼 수는 있지만 사랑을 놓친다면 그대와 신 사이의 다리는 만들어지지 않을 것이다. 사람은 대단히 성스럽게 될 수 있지만 그 안에 영혼이 없다면 모든 성스러움은 단지 시체처럼 될 것이다. 불이 없는 등잔일 것이다.

이것을 기억하라. 이것이 인생에 있어서 기억해야할 가장 커다란 것이다. 그것을 기억한다면 바로 그 기억은 그 자신에 의해 변화해가기 시작한다. 천천히 그대는 더더욱 사랑스런 태도들, 사랑스런 접근들을 향해 기울기 시작한다. 천천히 평범한 삶, 산문 같은 삶이 비범한 삶, 시적인 삶을 향해 변하기 시작한다. 넘치는 시가 존재 속으로 모여든 어느날 갑자기 그것은 노래 속으로 분출해 버린다.

(Love is a song, the song of the heart, the song of your very innermost core; and unless love is born one is not born. It is through love that one attains the soul. It is only through love that one starts feeling something that is beyond the body, beyond matter, beyond form beyond words; and that beyond is god. So love becomes a bridge between this and that, between this shore and the further shore. And it is only through love that one can go to meet the divine.

You can practise a thousand and one things, and still if love is missing the bridge will not be created between you and god. One can become very saintly, but all that saintliness will be just like a corpse without a soul in it; it will be an unlit lamp.

Remember it, because that is the greatest thing to remember in life. And if one remembers it, the very remembrance starts changing one on its own accord. Slowly slowly you start leaning more and more towards loving attitudes, loving approaches. Slowly slowly the ordinary life, the life of prose, starts changing into extraordinary life, into the life of poetry. And suddenly one day when enough poetry has gathered into being it suddenly bursts forth into a song.)

초월님 =마 데바 에르나

데바 에르나, 데바는 ‘성스런’이란 뜻이다.  에르나는 세 가지 뜻이 있다.

하나는 ‘은퇴하는 것’이다. 산야스란 하나의 은퇴이다. 그것도  너무너무 일찍 은퇴이다! 산야스란 무의미한 모든 것, 어리섞은 모든 것... 사람들이 그 속에 빠져있는 바보같은 삶의 모든 게임들로부터 은퇴하는 것이다. 지금이 은퇴하기 가장 좋은 시간이다. 왜 쓸데없는 에너지를 그 속에서 허비한단 말인가? 그대는 조만간 그 안에서 나와야 하는데 빠를수록 좋다.

두 번째 뜻은 ‘진실함’이다. 그 또한 아름다운 뜻이다. 그대는 심각해지는 것이 아니라 진실해져야 한다. 진실함은 진짜임을 뜻한다. 그대는 스스로에게 진실해야 한다. 그대는 어떤 가면도 없어야 한다. 그대는 단지 있는 그대로의 그대여야 한다. 때로는 그것이 어려울 수도 있지만 결국에는 댓가를 지불한다. 진실한 사람은 신을 얻게 되는 것이다.

세 번째 뜻은 “독수리”이다. 이 또한 아름다운 상징... 비상의 상징, 높은 차원의 것을 향한 비상을 의미한다. 산야스란 홀로에서 홀로가는 하나의 비상이다. 존재의 정점에 도달하기 위한 노력이다. 그대는 독수리가 되어야만 한다. 그대는 날개를 성장시키는 법을 알아야만 하다. 두 개의 날개가 있다. 하나는 명상이며 다른 하나는 사랑이다.

(Deva Erna. Deva means divine, erna has three meanings. One is retiring. Sannyas is a retirement, and it is early too, an early retirement! Sannyas is retirement from all that is nonsense, all that is stupid... the foolish games of life that people are involved in.

This is the right time to retire; why waste unnecessary energy in it?

Sooner or later one has to get out of it, and the sooner it is, the better.

The second meaning is sincerity; that too is a beautiful meaning. One should not be serious but one should be sincere. Sincerity means authenticity. One should be true to oneself. One should not have any pseudo mask: one should simply be what one is. Sometimes it may be difficult, but in the long run it pays. A sincere person is bound to attain to God.

And the third meaning is eagle. That too is a beautiful symbol -- the symbol of flight, a flight towards the heights. Sannyas is a flight of the alone to the alone. It is an effort to reach to the peak of existence. One has to be an eagle. One has to learn how to grow wings, and two wings are there: one is meditation, another is love.)

저 예전 산야스 받을때 생각나요. 한동안 프린트해서 종이 쪽지 가지고 다니며 읽고 또 읽고...가슴, 사랑, 감동,먹먹, ㅎ 지금도 가끔 그 낡은 종이쪽지 한번씩보며 깊고깊은 뜻 가슴에 새긴답니당!!! ㅎㅎㅎ
