어떤 사업을 하시는 사장님이 그 사업 응용과 확장 가능성을 검토하기 위해, 유료로 사용하는 AI와 연속되는 대화와 자문 의뢰 끝에 수십 페이지 짜리 보고서 2개를 받았고, 저는 금주 이 보고서 2개를 읽어보았습니다. 하나는 제가 좀 아는 분야라서 그 보고서가 말하는 게 현실성이 낮다는 걸 금방 인식했으나 하나는 제가 잘 모르는 분야라서 보고서만 읽고 나면 AI가 말하는 게 맞다고 생각되어 그렇게 하는 게 지당하다고 느꼈죠. 그리고 그 보고서에 나온 업체들을 실제로 해당 업체 홈페이지 조회하여 들어가보고 그 기업에 문의전화를 하기 시작했는데, 그 정보가 절반 가량 오정보였습니다. 결국 인간인 저는 어떤 말을 하면 ‘그럴 거 같다’는 식으로 확언을 안하는 경우가 많은데, AI는 이럴 경우에도 확언조로 말을 하고 그러다 보니 그기에 다시 질문을 더하면 심화 분석으로 더 진행되는 식의 알고리듬이 몇 번 반복하다 보면, 이야기가 삼천포로 흘러간다는 걸 금주 확인했습니다.

이는 AI가 앞으로 2년 뒤 모습도 예상 외로 전망을 잘 못할 수 있고 더구나 20년 뒤 모습을 더 삼천포로 이야기가 엉뚱하게 갈 수 있다는 말이 되겠습니다.

인간 정동희는 뼈저린 고민의 시간들을 거쳐서 이 이슈에 대하여 통찰의 노력을 하였고, 여러분에게 2년 뒤 그리고 20년 뒤 우리가 가야할 여정을 예지적인 관점으로 고민하여 가이드 역할을 하고자 합니다.

저의 눈으로 보이는 2년 뒤 그리고 20년 뒤 세상은 AI가 보는 세상과 매우 다르기 때문입니다.

① 나(=정동희)는 매우 부족한 점이 많은 ‘일반적인(=속세에 물든) 인간’이다.

② 다만 나는 신이 있을 수도 있다고 생각하는 인간이다. (현대 우주론의 정설인 빅뱅 우주론을 합리적으로 받아들이는데, 신이 존재한다면 빅뱅의 출발점 이전에 그의 뜻이 매우 궁금하다.)

③ 나는 모세와 달리 그 있을 수도 있는 신과 직접적인 계시 또는 소통의 경험은 전혀 없다.

④ 구약에서 말하는 모세는 시차(=약 250여년 이하의 시간차이)를 감안하면, 실제로 존재했을 가능성도 높다고 생각한다.

⑤ 다만 신약에서 말하는 예수 그리스도는 실존하는 인물이었음은 분명한데, 그가 신성을 가진 지에 대해서는 확신이 없다. 솔직한 나의 심정은 한 때는 그렇게 생각했는데, 지금은 안 그럴 가능성이 더 많이 보인다.

⑥ 왜냐하면 정작 예수 그리스도가 속한 유대민족은 사실상 구약만 믿고 신약을 배제하고 있기도 한다는 것은 이에 대한 매우 간접적인 증거가 될 수 있기 때문이다. (그가 갈릴리 호수 위를 걸었다면 그 호수가 있는 유대민족 목격자들이 당연히 많을 터이고 그가 5천 관중에게 먹을 것을 주었다면 당연히 그 5천 관중의 절대 다수를 차지한 유대민족이 이를 목격했고 후에 증언했을 것이기 때문이다.)

⑦ 나는 유대교를 제외한 ‘기독교가 내세우는 유일신 철학’이, 결과적으로 십자군 약탈부터 시작하여 아메리카대륙과 호주대륙의 원주민 도태와 학살을 합리화하는 가치관으로 악용되었다고 보는 입장이다.

⑧ 문제는 아직도 이러한 세계관이 만들어내는 기형성이 다양한 부문에서 지속되고 있는데, 그 예들은 의외로 널려 있다. 다만 내가 직접 체험한 것은 ‘2024년 2월 6일 호주 정부 출자은행장의 뇌물부패 신고 이후 진행된 호주 재판 승소 이후 벌어진 마크 드레이푸스(전)와 현 미셸 로랜드 연방법무장관의 만행’ 등이 되겠다.

⑨ 적어도 유대민족이 이집트 문명시대부터 20세기 이전에는 남의 나라 침략 경험이 상대적으로 적었고 아시아에서 이러한 유사한 민족을 찾아보면 최소한 한국(BC 수천년 전의 고조선 이래 지금까지 한국까지)이다.

It's already past the beginning of spring, but the temperatures this weekend are chilly. So, the sea we see today will also be a winter sea.

A business owner, who was using a paid AI to eval‎uate the application and scalability of his business, received two dozen-page reports after a series of conversations and consultations with the AI. I read both of these reports this week. One was in a field I had some knowledge of, so I quickly recognized that the report's claims were unrealistic. The other was in a field I wasn't particularly familiar with, so after reading the report, I felt like the AI's claims were accurate, and I felt it was only right to do so. I actually checked the websites of the companies mentioned in the report and started calling them, but about half of the information I found was incorrect.

Ultimately, as humans, I often don't confirm‎ things with statements like, "I think so," but AI, in this case, responds with a definitive tone. This algorithm, which then asks further questions and then delves deeper into analysis, has proven this week that after a few iterations, the conversation can spiral into a completely different direction. This means that AI can be surprisingly poor at predicting what will happen two years from now, and even more so, it can veer off course into a completely different direction when predicting what will happen 20 years from now.

Jeong Dong-hee, a human being, has gone through periods of profound contemplation and strived for insight into this issue. He offers a visionary perspective on the journey we must take in the next two years and twenty years, and he hopes to serve as a guide.

Before embarking on "Codename: [Winter Sea Journey]," where I will guide you to a world different from the one you imagine, I ask that you first familiarize yourself with ㅋZheng Dong-hee's 12 Monologues.

Zheng Dong-hee's 12 Monologues (=Premises)

① I (=Zheng Dong-hee) am an "ordinary (=worldly) human" with many shortcomings.
