waht's up!
i'm your american friend...^^;
and, i finally found the program that i can write in korean...because of MR."potratsu"(thank you ^^)....and i finished downloading which took more than 3:00 hours...--; (can you guys believe that? we're not living in prehistoric age..aren't we?)
anyway, i've done all these things... and i found out that this stupid computer doesn't have Micro office program. and this program <<Global IME>> doesn't work if i don't have MS office program...
난 여러분의 아메리칸 친구... ^^;
so, now i need to find someone who has micro office....
it's never gonna end --;;;;;
언제끝난댜 --;;;;;
and..
about short track, i'm really sorry to KOREANS as one of AMERICAN ^^;......
We(AMERICAN) are so bad....(hehehe.....)
that's was joking...
but seriously, i was really mad and it's even worse here, because people doesn't know what's going on in short track and they don't care....and here TV, they didn't show the game ever..they're just ignoreing it!!!!...
not only american channels but also the canadians channels !!!!
they are all same!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (you know, i think that's because canadian athelete won bronze medal because of american...so they don't want to admit!!!)
usually, when american or canadian won any medal(gold, silver or bronze whatever...) they show those games so many times.....but this time...i just watched one time in the TV eventhough i was watching TV whole day to listen to the news about short track...
but they didn't show it ever and never mentioned about it!!!
It's really ridiculous!!! they're just scared about talking about it, because they know also really well what should be happened...
now i heard Korean team they sued the austrailian judge and they're trying to do something....so i hope that's gonna work...
I was so mad and i complained so much about this to my friends...
now they are all with Korean team!!! u-ho!! Go Korea!!
and i talked with Gregory (remember? the one who gave me this computer...)because he is AMERICAN....but he really didn't know what happened.. but anyway i yelled at him little bit about what american did to us and how they are bad....and also i said to him that i'm not so proud of american... but..he just laughed --;....
if he said something more about that, then i would have faught with gregory.....and that might help me not to be so mad...
and if you guys are interested to know more about what american's saying about this happening, visit NBC site...what they're saying is unbelievable.....
i was really upset after reading some articles from this site....
it's really interesting and we also can know what they are thiniking......you know, if you want to beat somebody you'd better know well about this one....

Ohno ready
for S. Korean challenge
Hold on to your hats
— two events remaining in
short-track speed skating
SALT LAKE CITY, Feb. 22 — Don’t let a day of relative calm and fraternity among nations — by which I mean a day without anyone threatening to hold their breath until they turn blue unless they get a medal for something that happened in 1928 — fool you. More short-track speed skating lies ahead.
WHICH MEANS ANTON Apolo Ohno will be on the track again racing for gold against — who else? — his good friends from South Korea.
Maybe saying “good friends” is going a bit far. OK, more than a bit far. More like from here to the edge of the universe far. To be honest, Ohno couldn’t win a popularity contest in South Korea if he were running against a bucket of slime mold.
Two weeks ago, before this fortnight plus three days of international amity began, the biggest issue in South Korea was probably its present and future relationship with Axis-of-Evil charter member North Korea. Now, you get the impression that the only thing that matters is gaining revenge on Ohno.
It might be impossible to explain to someone who hasn’t been following short-track why this is so. It’s hard enough for someone who does know what’s going on to decipher. The quickest way of saying it is that Ohno, who came into the games as a superstar-designate, has a silver medal and a gold in two men’s events and South Korea, which happens to be a world leader in the sport, has nothing other than one skater who crashed and one who was disqualified.
Two events remain to be run, and both will consume most of Saturday, beginning with heats and then the final of the 500 meters and capping the competition with the 5000-meter relay. The favorites in the 500 are Li Jiajun of China, Kim Dong-Sung of South Korea and Ohno. Among the favorites in the relay are, again, South Korea and the United States.
The unhappiness in Korea is understandable, even if the way the team’s fans have expressed their displeasure — e-bomb attacks on the IOC and USOC computer systems, death threats sent out at bulk rates, and an amazingly detailed knowledge of American vituperative slang — would still be over the top if the top were on the moon. As big the pre-Games expectations were in the United States for Ohno, they were as big or bigger in South Korea for a powerful national team led by Kim and Ahn Hyun-Soo. Ohno was capable of three golds. So were the South Koreans.
But in the first event, the 1000 meters, a four-skater crash saw Ahn and Ohno go down along with skaters from China and Canada on the last turn. Ohno scrambled to the line for silver as Australian Steve Bradbury, who had been in the race more or less as a spectator, won the gold.
American fans wanted a rematch. South Korean fans did too, but South Koreans added a cry of “foul” to the demand, feeling that Ohno, who was leading the race at the time, had pulled down Ahn, who was behind and inside him. Most of the world saw no blame in either Ahn or Ohno. Angry fans of Ahn sent Ohno death threats.
Which made things very interesting four nights later when the 1500 came down to Kim and Ohno, with Kim crossing the line first, then being disqualified for impeding Ohno, who was awarded the gold. E-mail servers in Korea shifted into overdrive as angry fans fired off thousands of angry messages.
A protest over the decision was rejected by the International Skating Union, and, although South Korea is threatening to sue, the only place South Korea wants revenge now is on the ice.
The 19-year-old Ohno’s taking it all in stride. “You get off the ice and respect the referee’s decision,” he said. “It’s happened to me so many times.”
But South Korea thinks that the referee decisions have been dictated by the raucous pro-American crowd. “Kim Dong-Sung was robbed of his gold,” a Korean newspaper declared.
“The gold should be awarded to the athlete who finished first, not the athlete who is the crowd favorite,” echoed Rocky Yoon of the Korean Olympic Committee at one of the periodic press conferences that these Olympics have seen called to grouse about various decisions of judges and medical officials.
South Korea even said it considered boycotting the Games — in the spirit of good will and fellowship, of course. But, with one race to go and team officials probably checking through the rule books (WARNING: The next phrase is, to use a technical writing term, hyperbole.) to see if it’s legal for the skaters to wear spikes on their elbows, shoulders, and hips, a la “Rollerball” and “Mad Max,” it probably seemed premature.

One could hope that another furor can be avoided, but, outside of the South Koreans and Americans all pulling muscles wriggling into those Spandex suits they wear and not being able to skate, it’s hard to see how that can happen. Ohno is great and so is Kim. Barring a crash in the heats, both are likely to be head-to-head or shoulder-to-shoulder or hip-to-hip coming through the final turn. The crowd will be going crazy. The referee will be wondering why he didn’t wear a flak jacket and a helmet. Internet vandals will be waiting with fingers poised ready to renew their e-bomb attacks. Lawyers will be waiting in the wings.
Somebody will win and somebody will lose, and the winner will not be the man both sides expected. All we can hope is that the loser this time handles it with class.
