Bible Reading - Malachi 4:1~6

4:1 "Surely the day is coming; 확실히 그 날이 오고 있다.

it will burn like a furnace. 그것은 용광로처럼 타오를 것이다.

All the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble(그루터기),

모든 교만한 자들과 악인들은 그루터기가 될 것이며

and that day that is coming will set them on fire," says the LORD Almighty.

 다가오는 그날이 그들을 불 사를 것이다." 전능하신 여호와께서 말씀하신다.

"Not a root or a branch will be left to them.

어떤 뿌리와 가지들도 그들에게 남아있지 않을 것이다.

4:2 But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings.

그러나 내 이름을 숭배하는 너희를 위하여 의의 태양이 치유의 날개로 떠 오를 것이다. 

And you will go out and leap like calves(송아지) released from the stall(우리).

그러면 너희는 우리에서 풀려난 송아지처럼 나가서 뛰어오를 것이다.

4:3 Then you will trample down the wicked; 그러면 너희는 악한 자들을 짓 밟을 것이다.

they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day when I do these things," says the LORD Almighty.

내가 이것들을 행하는 그날에 그들은 너희의 발바닥 아래 재가 될 것이다. " 전능하신 여호와께서 말씀하신다.

4:4 "Remember the law of my servant Moses, the decrees and laws I gave him at Horeb for all Israel.

내가 모든 이스라엘을 위해 호렙에서 모세에게 주었던 내 종 모세의 율법과 법령들과 법률들을 기억하라.

4:5 "See, I will send you the prophet Elijah before that great and dreadful day of the LORD comes. 보라, 크고 두려운 여호와의 날이 오기 전에 나는 선지자 엘리야를 너희에게 보낼 것이다.

4:6 He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, 

그는 아버지들의 마음을 자녀들에게 돌이킬 것이며

and the hearts of the children to their fathers; 

자녀들의 마음을 아버지들에게 돌이킬 것이다.

or else I will come and strike the land with a curse."

그렇지 않으면 내가 와서 저주로 그 땅을 칠 것이다.
