훈련기 항공자위대 기본훈련기로 선정된 T-6 텍산II

후지 T-7을 대체할 항공자위대의 기본훈련기로 비치크래프트 T-6 텍산 II가 선정됐네요. 

경쟁상대는 필라터스 PC-7, TAI Hurkus였습니다. 

T-6는 가네마츠 상사를 끼고 있었고, PC-7은 스바루, Hurkus는 다이햐쿠를 끼고 경쟁에 참여했었네요. 다이햐쿠는 처음 들어보는 회사인데 아마 이 곳 ( Daihyaku Shoji ) 같습니다. 항공관련 업종인 듯 하네요. 

후지 T-7은 2002년부터 생산됐네요. 조금 빨리 대체하네요.

Tokyo has selected the Beechcraft T-6 Texan II to replace the Japan Air Self-Defense Force’s fleet of Fuji T-7s in the basic training role.

Japan’s Ministry of Defence (JMOD) announced the decision on 29 November following an eval‎uation of three trainer types.

The T-6’s local sponsor in Japan was Kanematsu Corporation

The other two types eval‎uated were the Pilatus PC-7 and the Turkish Aerospace Industries Hurkus.

All three aircraft had a local sponsor. The winning proposal for the T-6 came from Kanematsu Corporation, while Subaru proposed the PC-7 and Daihyaku the Hurkus.

In addition to the aircraft, JMOD also eval‎uated ground training equipment, logistics, and other items.

After a two-stage competition Kanematsu’s T-6 offering had the highest score.
