빛을 찾는 사람들 우련祐練신경희 어둠에 서 있었기에 빛을 알았습니다. 암흑 속에 오랜 방황이 이 세상에 혼자라는 것도 알았습니다. 한 낮에 혼자 서 있는 외로움 문득 눈을 들어 하늘을 보니 눈부신 햇살이 어깨위를 비취는 그 외로움과는 또 달랐습니다. 내일은 무얼 먹을까 걱정을 하고 나서야 가난이 무엇인줄 알았습니다. 가난은 조금 불편할 뿐이라는 호화롭고 화려한 말도 알게되었습니다. 깊은 심연 속에 갇힐수록 외로움을 가슴으로 끌어안을수록 고독이 불을 밝혔습니다. 어둠 끝에는 빛이 있었습니다. 어둠 속에 있어서야 빛이 보였습니다. 한줄기의 빛의 소중함을 그때서야 알았습니다. 어둠 속에 있고 나서야 아려오는 아픔들이 녹아내려서 또 하나의 희망을 만들어낸다는 것을 알았습니다. 어둠 속에 서 있기 때문에 빛을 찾는 사람들 희망이 저만치서 다가서 올 때에 눈물겹도록 아름다운 것을 그 때서야 알았습니다. 어둠이 있기에 빛을 찾는 사람들 희망을 찾아 빛으로 나가는 사람들의 고단한 아름다움을 알기까지는 참으로 많은 시간이 걸렸습니다. 희망을 찾아 빛으로 나가는 사람들 그 속에 내가 있어 동행이라는 이름으로 다시 걸을 수 있음을 그래서 혼자가 아니라는것도 알았습니다

People Reaching For Light    WooRyeon, KyungHee Shin Darkness was there standing Thus came I to know Light Meandering long time here and there in darkness Then came I to know that  I'm all alone in this world. Standing alone noon time I happened to look up to sky. Blinding sun beam descended upon my shoulder Then, came I to know loneliness of different kind What to eat tomorrow? Having worried for food, Then came I to realize what is poverty Poverty is simply an inconvenience Then came I to know luxurious and splendid words, The more deeply I sank in the abyss of loneliness The tighter  embraced I my loneliness Then loneliness showed me the Light. Light was there at the end of darkness. Light could be seen only when in darkness Preciousness of a streak of light Then  came I to know. Having been in darkness which melts down aching pains A new hope is formed Then came I to realize. Darkness was there standing Thus people reaching for Light As Hope nears you it's so tearfully beautiful Then came I to realize Darkness was there standing Thus people reaching for Light Though tiresome sometimes to reach out to Light Some times had to be passed for me to realize. People reaching out to Light for Hope I, in their midst as their companion walking along Then came I to know that I'm not alone.
