증오가 있는 곳에 사랑을 씨 뿌리고,

상처가 있는 곳에 용서를,

의심이 있는 곳에 믿음을,

절망이 있는 곳에 희망을,

어둠이 있는 곳에 빛을,

슬픔이 있는 곳에 기쁨을 씨 뿌려라.

위로받으려 하지 말고 위로하고,

이해받으려 하지 말고 이해하고,

사랑받으려 하지 말고 사랑하라.

Where there is hatred, sow love;

Where there is injury, pardon;

Where there is doubt, faith;

Where there is despair, hope;

Where there is darkness, light;

Where there is sadness, joy

Seek not so much to be consoled, as to console;

to be understood, as to understand;

to be loved, as to love.

사랑은 지금 '너'인 것과 항상 너였던 것이기 때문이다.

사랑은 존재했고 존재하며 존재할 모든 것이다.

너는 삶을 살아갈 진리를 찾아 헤맸으니, 여기서 다시 한번 그것을 너에게 주겠다.

내 사랑하는 자여, 사랑이 되어라.

For love is Who You Are, and who you have always been. It is all there ever was, is now, and ever shall be.

You have searched for a truth by which to live your life, and I give it to you here, again.

사랑이 되어라. 깨달음으로 가는 너의 긴 여행이 끝나리니.

남들을 깨달음으로 이끄는 너의 새로운 여행이 이제부터 시작되리니.

사랑은 너의 모든 것이고, 나의 모든 것이며,

우리가 되기로 되어 있던 유일한 것이니.

그러니 그럴지어다.

Be love, and your long journey to mastery will be over, even as your new journey to bring others to mastery has just begun. For love is all that you are, all that I am, and all that We were ever meant to be.

So be it.

사랑은 측량할 수 없다. 

사랑은 있거나 없거나 둘 중 하나지만, 신의 왕국에는 사랑이 언제나 있다.

이것은 신이 사랑의 분배자가 아니라, 신이 사랑이기 때문이다.  

앞에서 너희와 나는 '하나'라고말했고, 이건 사실이다.

너희는 내 형상대로 나와 닮은꼴로 만들어졌다.

그러니 너희 또한 사랑이다. 한 마디로 이것이 '참된 자신'이다.

Love is not quantifiable.

It is either present or it is not, and in God’s kingdom love is always present. That is because God is not the dispenser of love, God Is Love.

Now I have said that you and I are One, and that is what is so. You are made in My image and likeness. Therefore, you, too, are love. In a word, that is Who You Really Are.

너희는 사랑받는 자가 아니라, 너희가 받고자 하는 바로 그 존재다.

이것은 위대한 비책이니, 이 비책을 알면 삶을 바꿀 수 있다.

사람들은 자기가 이미 갖고 있는 것을 구하면서 평생을 보낸다.

그들은 그것을 가지고 있다. 왜냐하면 그들이 그것이니까.

You are not the receiver of love, you are that which you would seek to receive. This is a great secret, and knowing this secret changes people’s lives.

People spend whole lifetimes seeking that which they already have. They have it, because they are it.

사랑을 갖기 위해 너희가 해야 할 일은 사랑이 되는 것뿐이다.

너희는 내 사랑이다. 너희 각각이. 너희 모두가.

너희 중 누구도 남보다 더 많이 '나'이지는 않으니, 

너희 중 남보다 더 사랑스러운 사람은 아무도 없다.

비록 나를 더 많이 기억하고, 

따라서 자신을 더 많이 기억하는 사람들이 있긴 하지만.

All you have to do to have love is to be love.

You are My beloved. Each of you. All of you. None of you is more lovable than another, because none of you is more of Me than another―although some of you remember more of Me, and, therefore, more of yourself.

그러니

너희 자신을 잊지 마라.

사랑하는 이여, 사랑이 되어라.

So do not forget yourself.

Beloved, be love.

Do this in remembrance of Me.
