[ Rediscovering Haeundae 43 ]

The Haeundae local night food tour is a night walk that makes your mouth smile first. 

When the lights of the beach caress the sea, the tourists’ feet slip into the alley. Kimbap is like a well-dried love letter, and tteokbokki is a spicy mischievous that slightly pinches the tongue. 

Odeng is a bowl of warm comfort in a soup, and sundae looks like an alien creature with intestines, but surprisingly, it tastes like ‘mother’s taste’ when you put it in your mouth. 

A feast for a few thousand won, and a few bites are enough for exclamation. 

The subtle and rich taste of Korea approaches as ambitiously as the night view of Haeundae. 

In the end, the end of this tour is a Korean-style happy ending of ‘diet starts tomorrow.’

야식 투어, 어디로 갈까요?

해운대 로컬 야식 투어는 입이 먼저 웃는 밤산책이다. 해변의 조명이 바다를 쓰다듬을 즈음, 관광객의 발길은 골목으로 미끄러진다. 

김밥은 마치 잘 말린 연애편지 같고, 떡볶이는 혓바닥을 살짝 꼬집는 매운 장난꾸러기다. 오뎅은 국물에 담긴 따뜻한 위로 한 그릇, 순대는 내장을 품은 외계 생물처럼 생겼지만, 입에 넣으면 놀랍게도 ‘엄마의 맛’이다. 

몇 천 원이면 만찬, 몇 입이면 감탄. 은근하고 진한 한국의 맛이 해운대의 야경만큼이나 야심차게 다가온다. 결국, 이 투어의 끝은 ‘다이어트는 내일부터’라는 한국식 해피엔딩.
