Korean parents prepared a variety of Korean cuisines Japchae & Tteokbokki

In celebration of the Lunar New Year, we had a busy day filled with exciting activities! Lion dancers, accompanied by a God of Wealth mascot, pranced around the school as they kicked off the various activities we had planned for a fruitful day.

Our learners made adorable rabbit origamis to signify the Year of the Rabbit!

The Nexus Parent, Teacher, and Friends (PTF) group also prepared scrumptious food and engaging activities for the #NexusCommunity such as face painting, tossing yee sang with the learners, and many more. The Korean parents also prepared a variety of Korean cuisines such as Japchae and Tteokbokki in celebration of Seollal, the Korean equivalent of the Lunar New Year. We wrapped up the day with a special assembly that featured numerous performances with traditional Chinese instruments.
