The upgrades aim to bolster the operational effectiveness of Japan’s military in missions requiring heavy airlift capability.</p><p>Kawasaki Heavy Industries has been manufacturing CH-47 helicopters under license from Boeing since 1984. The company has delivered over 100 units to Japan’s Self-Defense Forces, including 50 CH-47Js for the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) and 15 CH-47Js for the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF).</p><p>The CH-47 Chinook is renowned for its reliability and versatility, capable of executing a variety of missions ranging from troop transport and disaster relief to logistical support.</p>

첫댓글 중소형 헬기만 잔뜩 보유한 우리나라 입장으로서는 좀 부러워 해야 하나요. 기동헬기만 수리온과 블랙호크를 합치면 300대선이 훌쩍 넘어가죠.
우리도 최근에 CH-47F 18기 도입계약을 체결하긴 했네요
@스피드조(조용진) 일본 육자대, 공자대의 CH-47 운용기체 수량이 60기가 넘어가니 중소형 헬기 대비 중수송헬기 보유 비율은 일본이 높을 것 같긴 한데, 그만큼 공역이 넓고 수송 소요량이 많을 것 같긴 합니다.
수리온-블랙호크 합쳐 300대를 넘게 굴리는 한국이 특이한 케이스인 것 같기도..
Extended Range는 동체를 앞뒤로 늘리기 보다 옆에 있는 연료 탱크를 늘려서 작전거리를 연장한 버젼이 아닐까 합니다.
