★ 사랑과 우정(友情)의 소중(所重)함 (the preciousness of love and friendship) ★

친구라는 말보다 더 아름다운 것은 없습니다. 우정(友情, friendship)보다 소중(所重, important)한 것도 없습니 다. 나는 당신에게 아름다운 친구 소중 한 우정이길 바랍니다. (There is nothing more beautiful than the word friend. There is nothing more precious than friendship. I wish you a beautiful friend and a precious friendship.)

가끔 사랑이란 말이 오고가도 아무 부담 없는 친구 혼자 울고 있을 때, 아무 말 없이 다가와 ˝힘내˝라고 말해 줄 수 있는 당신은 바로 내 친구이기 때문입니다.(Sometimes when a friend who doesn't feel any pressure even if the word love comes and goes, is crying alone, Because you're my friend who can come and say 힘Cheer up라고 without saying a word.)

나 역시 당신의 어떤 마음도 행복으로 받아들일 수 있는 친구(親舊, mate)이고 싶습니다. 함께 있지 않아도 보이지 않는 곳에서 서로를 걱정하고 칭찬(稱讚, applause) 하는 친구이고 싶습니다.(I also want to be a friend who can accept any of your feelings as happiness. I want to be friends who worry and praise each other even if we are not together.)

주위에 아무도 없어도 당신이 있으면 당신도 내가 있으면 만족(滿足, satisfy)하는 그런 친구이고 싶습니다.(Even if there is no one around me, I want to be a friend who will be satisfied if you are with me.)

당신에게 행복(幸福, happiness)이 없다면 행복을 찾아 주고 당신에게 불행(不幸, unhappy)이 있다면 불행을 물리칠 수 있는 친구이고 싶습니다.(I want to be a friend who can find happiness if you don't have happiness and defeat misfortune if you have misfortune.)

자신의 만족(滿足, satisfy)보다 는 친구 의 만족을 더 즐거워하는 그런 친구이고 싶습니다.(I want to be a friend who enjoys his friend's satisfaction more than his own.)

고맙다는 말 대신 말 없이
미소(微笑, grin)로 답할 수 있고 둘 보다는 하나라 는 말이 더 잘 어울리며, 미안하다는 말을 먼저 할 수 있는그런 친구이고 싶습니다.(Instead of saying thank you, you can answer with a smile without saying a word, and the word "one" fits better than the two, I want to be a friend who can say sorry first.)

아무 말이 없어도 같은 것을 느끼고 나를 속인다 해도 전혀 미움이 없으며 당신의 나쁜 점을 덮어줄 수 있는 그런 친구이고 싶습니다.(I want to be a friend who can cover up your bad points without any hate even if you feel the same thing and deceive me.)

잠시의 행복이나 웃음보다는 가슴 깊이 남을 수 있는 행복이 더 소중(所重, important)한 친구이고 싶습니다.(I want to be a friend who is more precious than a moment of happiness or laughter that can remain deep in my heart.)

그냥 지나가는 친구보다는 늘 함께 있을 수 있는 나지막한 목소리에도 용기(勇氣, container)를 얻을 수 있는 아낌의 소중함보다, 믿음의 소중함을 더 중요(重要, significant)시 하는 먼 곳에서 도 서로를 믿고 생각하는 친구이고 싶습니다.(Rather than just a passing friend, rather than the preciousness of being encouraged by the low voice you can always be with, I want to be friends who trust and think about each other even from far away who value the importance of faith more.)

당신보다 더 소중한 친구는 아무도 없습니다.(I have no friend more precious than you.)
