에스라10:1-8 에스라의 애통과 스가냐의 제안

에스라10:1

어디서든 개혁은 무척 힘든 일입니다. 조직의 관성과 저항하는 이들의 지속적인 반발이 있기 때문입니다. 기존의 질서에서 이익을 취하는 이들의 저항이 만만치 않습니다. 하지만 방치하면 죽느다는 것을 알면서도 외면할 수는 없습니다. 개혁이 성공하려면 어떤 요소들을 갖춰야 하는가?  학자 에스라가 백성들의 죄악으로 인하여 금식하며 먼저 주 앞에 엎드리자, 덩달아 백성들도 통회자복 하기 시작합니다. 에스라는 먼저 자발적으로 기도합니다.

Reform is challenging everywhere. This is due to the organization's inertia and constant opposition from those who resist it. Those who take advantage of the existing order are fiercely opposed. Even though they know that if left unattended, they will die, they cannot turn a blind eye. What elements must be required for a reform to succeed? When the scholar Ezra fasts because of the sins of the people and lies prone before the LORD first, the people begin to repent. Ezra prays voluntarily first.

지도자의 기도를 따라 자백을 할 때 많은 백성들이 이구동성으로 기도의 물결이 휘어 감게 되었습니다. 남녀노소 큰 무리가 기도회에 참석합니다. 엘람 자손 중 여히엘의 아들 스갸냐는 소망의 위로를 주는 동역자로 등장합니다. 회개의 합당한 열매를 맺도록 촉구하고 내 주의 교훈을 따르며 명령을 떨며 준행하는 에스라의 가르침에 따라서 모든 아내와 소생을 다 내어 보내기로 하나님과 언약을 세우고 율법대로 행하여 회개의 열매를 맺도록 촉구하고 나섰습니다. “우리가 도울 테니 힘써 소신껏 행하십시오(4) ”

When confessing according to the leader's prayer, the waves of prayer were bent in unison among many people. Large groups of men and women of all ages attend the prayer meeting. Among the Elam descendants, Suganya, son of Jehiel, appears as a consolation companion. She urged him to bear reasonable fruits of repentance, followed my Lord's lessons, and gave him a covenant with God to spend all his wife and life in accordance with the law, and urged him to bear fruit of repentance by doing so according to the law. "We will help you, so do as you wish."

지도자의 모범은 책망보다, 설교보다, 호소문 보다 더 감동적일 것입니다. 그리고 현명한 선택은 시기적절하게 요청됩니다. 에스라는 동역 자 스가냐의 협력에 힘을 얻습니다. 에스라가 성전 앞에 일어나 여호하난의 방에 들어가 죄를 애통하며 금식 기도합니다. 일을 실행하는 데 있어서 행정을 집행하시는 하나님의 보좌 앞에 먼저 나아가 은밀한 중에 기도합니다. 그리고 모두 예루살렘으로 모이라고 명합니다, 회개의 금식을 선포합니다. 그렇지 않으면 3일내에 그 재산을 몰수하며 모임에서 쫒아 낸다는 전갈을 보냅니다.

The leader's example will be more touching than censure, more than sermons, and more than appeals. And wise choices are requested in a timely manner. Ezra is encouraged by the cooperation of his partner Suganya. Ezra rises before the temple, enters the room of Jehohanan, grieves his sins, and fasts. In carrying out his work, he first goes before the throne of God, who executes his administration, and prays in secret. And I order everyone to gather in Jerusalem, declaring a fast of repentance. Otherwise, I send a message that within three days, the property will be confiscated and kicked out of the meeting.

기도하고 용기와 힘을 얻어 곧 하나님의 뜻을 순종하는 에스라의 지도력은 오늘 우리가 본받아야할 중요한 덕목입니다. 에스라는 자신이 나서면 영적 혼돈이 해결 될 것이라고 생각지 않은 것 같아 엎드렸습니다. 자신은 할 수 없으니 주께서 나서 주시지 않으면 안 된다는 뜻으로 금식했습니다. 때때로 환경(억수같은 비)을 사용하시는 하나님께서 제게 죄를 끊으라고 하십니다. 오주여! 모범을 보인 지도자, 금식으로 엎드린 지도자, 권위 있게 실행하는 지도자, 개혁이 성공하려면 어떤 요소들이 필요할까?

Ezra's leadership, which prays and obeys God's will with courage and strength, is an important virtue that we should emulate today. Ezra fell down because he didn't think that spiritual chaos would be solved if he stepped up. He fasted to mean that the Lord had to step up because he couldn't do it. Sometimes God, who uses the environment (a torrential rain), asks me to cut off my sins. O Lord! A leader who sets an example, a leader who fasts down, a leader who practices authority, what elements do you need for reform to succeed?

주님, 공동체의 회복은 죄를 얼마나 철저하게 처리하느냐에 달려있는데 가족의 목표가 ‘거룩‘이라고 해놓고 ’거룩‘을 지키지 못한 죄를 용서하옵소서. 그럼에도 불구하고 오늘도 기도할 수 있는 특권을 주시오니 감사합니다. 이스라엘의 포로 생활은 ‘거룩’을 포기하였기에 받았던 징계의 기간이었음을 기억하고 내 안에 들어온 세속적인 풍습을 지금 속히 끊게 하옵소서. 에스라처럼 이웃과 백성의 죄를 슬퍼하는 애통함을 주시고 그러는 중에 위로의 소망을 얻는 삶이 되게 하옵소서. 스가냐와 같은 긍정적이고 협력하며 위로하는 법을 배우게 하시며 내 생각과 감정이 이 말씀으로 적셔지게 하옵소서.

Lord, the restoration of the community depends on how thoroughly you deal with the sins, and I forgive you for not being able to keep the Holiness when you say your family's goal is Holiness. Nevertheless, thank you for giving me the privilege to pray again today. Remember that Israel's captivity was a period of disciplinary action because it gave up the Holiness, and please let me quickly end the secular customs that came into my mind. Please give me the sorrow of grieving for the sins of my neighbors and people like Ezra, and let me live a life where I can get a hope of consolation. Let me learn to be positive, cooperative, and comforting like Suga, and let my thoughts and feelings be soaked in these words.
