Construction of the Kingdom of God and Paul's Epistles 1 <Justifying faith and the framework Law that form the foundation of the Kingdom>
Hallelujah! Heavenly Father, rich in mercy! I thank you and praise you for spreading amazing and amazing news to the whole world. I sincerely pray that the correct meaning of Paul's letters will soon be widely known in the world and that the kingdom of God will be established on this earth. When God came to me about 37 years ago, I prayed to be a tool. In fact, I didn't even know what the tool meant, but God gave me great grace and love, and I was able to share this amazing news. I only hope that the Lord's will will be accomplished through me. With God the Father's devastating love, the precious blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the atonement love of the cross, a vicious sinner undertakes this task, and everything is just God's grace. Through the inspiration and influence of the Holy Spirit, ignorant people were able to spread to the whole world the part of the understanding of Romans that had been at the center of controversy for a long time, namely justification from faith and the meaning of the Law through this. Through this, may the entire church become one and wake up from all illusions and move together into the world of truth! May the whole world become one in the Lord without war or strife through this people(Korean) who have pursued peace for 3,000 years! I pray in the name of Jesus.
Shalom! Fifty million Romans readers! I pray that everyone will be filled with the grace that God gives. Something truly amazing and surprising is happening today. I've already told you this, but I've organized it a little more and delivered it in English. I believe that everyone who reads my writing will take a truly new approach to the theologically controversial justification from faith and solve the big problem, which is the 500-year- old controversy between Catholicism and Protestantism. All believers in Jesus and shepherds in this world rely heavily on theology. On the other hand, there are also people who study the Bible professionally. However, since they learn as a student at a seminary and become a shepherd and Bible researcher, they can never ignore the seminary's teachings. However, even though I studied theology and became a pastor, I am writing this article without any professional theological study, asserting that it will be a great solution to this long-standing debate.
After reading this article, I believe that we must come to a correct understanding of justification from faith and the Law, and move forward together toward the kingdom that God wants to establish on this earth. The English translation is not yet complete, but I am uploading it as is.
There are still a lot of areas(parts) that need to be refined before it can be published as a book. Please refer to it and understand its larger meaning.
I hope that it will be a blessed time for everyone who reads this to share the amazing grace given to a humble life.
This has already been posted and is a bit long, but please read until the end and also read it in English. I hope you have a blessed and joyful moment where all your doubts are cleared away at once. I'm surprised, honored, and can't quite believe that I got to be a tool for something like this. Because the article is long, I am dividing it into three parts.

Part Ⅰ
Why it took 2,000 years for the secret to be revealed
1. God’s will to quickly spread the gospel
After God created the heavens and the earth, He created all things on the earth, including people, and then gave orders to people. “Be fruitful and multiply and subdue the earth...” People began to spread out and live on the earth. About 1,700 years have passed since then, and people are living divided up on the earth. Everyone sins, and only Noah and his family are recognized as righteous by God. God, who is just, judged the entire world stained with sin through water.
Afterwards, Noah's descendants spread out and lived in Europe, Africa, and Asia. Among all mankind, Abraham was chosen from Ur of the Chaldees to fellowship with God, and his descendants became a people and a nation, becoming Israel. After Israel came out of Egypt through Moses, God gave Moses the Law on Mount Sinai and made a covenant with Israel, which is the Old Testament.
Through Israel, God tried to establish a kingdom on this earth where the Law was well observed. However, except for the time of King David, most kings, nobles, and people did not learn or keep the law, so God's love and patience for Israel, which lasted about 1,000 years, came to an end, and the chosen nation, Israel, perished.
However, despite all this, the Israelites preserved the Old Testament's Pentateuch, that is the Law, and recorded their history in History books. And they collected songs, praises, and poems and organized them into Psalms, and completed the book of prophecy by collecting the records of prophets who conveyed God's will to always continue on the right path. In this way, they completed the 39 books of the Old Testament and delivered them to the world through the 70-person translation during the Greek era. Time came to an end and the chosen nation Israel was destroyed.
The Old Testament, written over a period of about 1,400 years, was well preserved by the Israelites by the grace of God without changing a single letter. Even among the Israelites who wrote this, there were very few people who properly understood the true meaning of the Old Testament.
When the time came, Jesus, the Son of God, came to Bethlehem, Israel, through the Virgin Mary, as promised in the Old Testament and according to the prophecy of the prophets. Only his mother Mary, his father Joseph, the woman who lived in the temple, and a very few people recognized the Messiah, but even his parents did not know what would be happened to Jesus eighter what Jesus would do.
This Jesus is the Creator of heaven and earth, the Christ, and the Savior who will save mankind from sin. He began his ministry when he was about 30 years old. He called fishermen and others as disciples and urged everyone to repent. And he preached the kingdom of God. Now the kingdom of God has finally come to this earth.
The country that Jesus wants to come and build on this earth! Although 2,000 years have passed since Jesus came, discussions about the kingdom of God are rare and people who explain the kingdom are rare. This is because humans, the descendants of Adam who were tainted by sin, had already forgotten God and established their own kingdom for about 2,200 years before the coming of Jesus. And Israel was chosen to correct this, but Israel also failed, and eventually Jesus came to Israel and brought the kingdom of God to this land. However, it took a long time for this amazing gospel of salvation to spread throughout the world. About 2,000 years have passed, and the gospel has now been spread throughout most of the world.
It took about 1,800 years(Catholicism is about 1600 years old) for the gospel to come from west to east to Korea, where we live. At the same time, there are still tribes who have not heard about Jesus, and there are countries such as the Islamic Empire and North Korea that forcibly prevent people from believing in Jesus. That is why it takes time to establish the kingdom of God on this earth, where all mankind who believe in Jesus follow the laws given by God and become one, transcending nations and races.
God's greatest desire was for all mankind and nations to first believe in Jesus, and this was achieved through the spread of the gospel. Following this, it seems that the next step was to establish the kingdom of God, a kingdom of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit, on this earth, where believers become one and live by observing the Law, which is the law of the kingdom.
Now 2000 years have passed since Jesus came. I believe that the gospel has now been spread to most countries and peoples on the earth and that the time has come to establish the kingdom of God where believers from all over the earth become one. I was chosen to be an instrument of God, received training and education, and passed it on.
The kingdom of God is based on the foundation of correct faith, and the Law of the kingdom of God, that is, the most just and fair law in the world, is enforced to all believing people and nations. A country without laws cannot stand, and a country without perfect laws can never be just. As humans began to live on this earth, every nation, group, and country created laws. However, the law changed over time according to the interests of the country and the interests of the group. And no matter how smart a lawyer is, no one has been able to create a law so that everyone in the world can live happily because they are human.
Only God, who is loving, just, and faithful, can create a law that allows all mankind to live happily, and that law is the Law of the Pentateuch. The Israelites preserved this Law well despite various hardships and are still trying to keep it well, and only through this Law do they live as the greatest nation on earth.
However, Catholicism and Protestantism do not agree in their understanding of faith in Jesus, which is the foundation of the kingdom of God. And regarding the Law, the Law of God's kingdom, both Catholicism and Protestantism are passive in their believers' keeping the Law. Why is such an important Law still treated this way, and why does the kingdom of God, which Jesus emphasized, seem so distant to everyone?
Even though the churches around the world are not unified in their understanding of the Bible, God considered it more urgent and important than anything else for people to believe in Jesus and be saved, so even if the churches understand the Bible slightly differently, first of all, It is clear that God worked actively to spread the gospel throughout the world. That is why we are currently seeing the churches and members of the world all over the planet. Everyone believes in Jesus, but their understanding and doctrine of the Bible is slightly different.
I believe that God accepted the salvation of the world through Jesus even though the churches did not fully understand the contents of the Bible and the Gospel. So, 500 years have passed since Protestantism was born in Catholicism, but although they had different doctrines and were not unified, I believe that the gospel was spread to the whole world through Protestantism. And I believe that God was considerate and patient in allowing the gospel to be spread despite the 400 years of glory in England, the hundreds of years of glory enjoyed by the United States, and the prosperity and decline of Spain and other European powers.
Therefore, no one should ever carelessly criticize, rebuke, or condemn the theological claims of the past, World Wars 1 and 2, and the prosperity and decline of European empires. This means that humans should not rashly interpret and judge the will of God, who governs history through the gospel. We want to make this clear and, as we enter the new 2000s, build a kingdom of God where everyone becomes one based on a correct understanding of the Bible.
I believe this is not an individual's claim, but God's will for the century. All Catholics, Protestants, and Orthodox believers must know and put into practice this will of God. Everything we knew and believed before the truth was revealed is in the past. No one has the right to criticize or judge anyone; this is entirely God's responsibility. However, if you do not obey the truth even after being exposed to it, you must take responsibility for it. The newly revealed secret of the epistle is about “justifying faith,” which Catholics and Protestants have been arguing about non-stop for 500 years and have not been able to resolve. And based on this new and correct understanding of “justifying faith,” we will explain the correct understanding of the Law that all believers must follow. (Controversies about justification by faith are resolved through an understanding of justifying faith.)
A correct understanding of this “Law of the Pentateuch” and “justifying faith” is the framework and foundation of the kingdom of God, and without this understanding, the kingdom of God can never fully stand. Although countless theologians, Bible scholars, and faithful believers have read the Bible for 2,000 years, the parts they did not understand are revealed by an unknown pastor living in Korea. This is because when the time came, God gave lowly people understanding in order to establish His kingdom among saints all over the world. This is absolutely not because I am different from other people or because I am superior.
Rather, God's use of people who are weaker than ordinary people is God's will to prevent anyone from boasting about this. So I am just honored to be used for such a valuable cause. As a person who is below average in every way and a heinous sinner, all glory goes to the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, the atonement on the cross, the devastating love of God the Father, and the presence and inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
May his Lord's name be praised forever and ever, and may his kingdom come soon to this earth. I am just thankful for God’s amazing grace.
2. Paul and the situation at the time
The circumstances of early Christianity 2,000 years ago can be known in great detail through the Acts of the Apostles, Paul's letters, and the four Gospels.
Jesus came in an era when farming, ranching, and fishing were the mainstays, and when Rome was expanding its territory and ruling around the Mediterranean Sea. He lived with farmers, fishermen, and shepherds, preaching the kingdom of heaven and spreading the truth to them in the fields. And he shed his blood, carried the cross, and performed the work of saving mankind. Three days after his burial, he resurrected and was with his disciples before ascending to heaven, telling them to wait for the Holy Spirit and receive it as a gift.
Now the Holy Spirit has come. He came to all the crowd gathered in Mark’s upper room. And the early Jerusalem church was established through the evangelism of the apostles who received the Holy Spirit. All of these people, without what was mine or what was yours, tried to share and gather together as brothers, praying, praising, and evangelizing.
Later, a large group of priests also came to believe. Most of them were Jewish believers. The Antioch Church was founded by these people, Paul and Barnabas ministered, and Paul became an apostle to the Gentiles and spread the gospel to Greece, Asia, and Europe.
These are all people who have seen Jesus in person. And these are people who have 100% received the Holy Spirit. Apostle Paul thought these people were strange at first, and he believed that they were enemies of Judaism, so he arrested them, imprisoned them, and persecuted them severely.
However, after meeting the resurrected Jesus, he became blind, met Ananias, was baptized in the name of Jesus, received the Holy Spirit, and now lives as a witness of Jesus. They wrote the four Gospels, Paul's letters, and the New Testament epistles.
If you become like these people, you will understand Paul's letters and the Gospel well. However, all later believers do not have the opportunity to meet Jesus in person and are swayed by various opinions when it comes to receiving the Holy Spirit. All of these early church members received the Holy Spirit and were witnesses of the gospel and Jesus, but in later generations, we may have limitations in our understanding of the Bible as we teach and learn it in school. Of course, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we can deeply understand the Bible.
In order for us to understand the kingdom of God and Correctly understand Paul's letters, we must experience the Holy Spirit like the members of the early church. And we must go out into the world and spread the gospel, and even if we cannot see Jesus in the flesh, we must meet him in various ways through the Bible. We must meet Jesus personally. In this situation, by reading and organizing the Bible every day, we can enter into its deep truth. If you are missing any of these, you will have to follow other people's teachings and blindly follow the theology you learn when doing theology.
And I hope that you will examine for yourself where your understanding of the Bible comes from and what your beliefs about the Bible are.
Catholics are under the cloak of Catholicism, and Protestants are under the cloak of Protestantism. That's why Protestants say it's only faith, and Catholics say it's not. This has been done for 500 years. According to these large denominations that have the same Bible, everyone simply believes and understands the claims of that denomination.
In the days of Luther and Calvin, the only people who had Bibles were Luther or priests, and there were only a few Latin Bibles and no Bibles in various languages. Let's compare the present with the days when Luther translated the German Bible, printed it, and read it. Now everyone has a computer and a cell phone, and each country has several versions of the Bible in its own language. If Luther had tried to search the entire Bible for the word Holy Spirit and write the verses containing the word in German, this task alone could have taken years or even a lifetime.
However, most people living on the planet now open the Bible app on their cell phones or computers, write the word Holy Spirit in the search box, and search, and within seconds, the computer finds and displays all the verses that contain the word Holy Spirit by book of the Bible. By copying this, tens or hundreds of people can study at the same time.
Therefore, all believers on earth can go as deep as Calvin and Luther in their understanding of the Bible. It's just that believers trapped in a cloak blindly follow the teachings of hundreds and thousands of years ago without examining them through the Bible. Ask everyone. When Luther discussed justification from faith, did he confirm that the verse in Romans 1:17, “The righteous will live by faith,” was quoted from Habakkuk 2:4 in the Old Testament? And if he confirmed this, did he go to Habakkuk and understand its correct meaning? I want to ask this.
Also, I would like to ask whether Luther or Calvin understood Romans 4:17-22, which kindly explains what kind of faith Abraham's justifying faith should be. If Luther did not confirm this and asserted this only in Romans 1:17 and 3:21-26, we must quickly confirm this. My article is a confirmation of this part.
If Luther and Calvin, as theologians, read and explained Romans without the Holy Spirit or evangelism experience, this could never be fully understood. I would like to ask whether theologians and pastors like these have been following this incomplete understanding for 500 years. And I would like to ask why the Catholic Church is silent about the Law. If all nations had learned and kept the Law, human history would have been very different.
Even now, the Catholic, Protestant, and Orthodox churches must correct this. If you truly want to establish the Lord's kingdom on this earth, you must have a correct understanding of justification by faith and a correct biblical understanding of justification faith. And based on this understanding, all saints around the world must properly understand the Law, and that is all saints on earth.
3. Explanation through modern devices and compressed files, and the tip of the iceberg
The Epistle to the Romans is a letter that Paul sent from Corinth to the saints in Rome around 57 AD. However, at this time, Paul would have been close to 60 years old, as at least 20 years had passed since he preached the gospel. It was a time when Paul was mature in his faith, both through evangelism experience and in terms of establishing and governing the church.
So even in Paul's Romans, there is a lot of meaning contained in that small text. From a modern perspective, I would like to call it a compressed file.
These days, long files can be compressed, stored, and sent, but if you want to view the contents, you have to unzip them to view them. Likewise, in the Book of Romans, one must first understand the contents of the four Gospels well, and also the Acts of the Apostles, and after gaining a certain level of understanding from the Pentateuch to the Prophets, one must move on to understanding the Book of Romans. If we want to properly understand the word salvation, we must first understand the fall of mankind due to sin in Genesis. And just as Paul went from understanding Jesus as a person he previously knew to understanding Jesus as the Son of God through the fulfillment of prophecy through the Old Testament, we must also understand the Jesus of the prophets.
When it comes to faith, you must understand Genesis, and when it comes to the Law, you must properly understand the prophets and the books of the Law. Since these are all compressed, you must go to each book of the Bible and unpack them to see the passages in Romans accurately.
The book of Romans can be seen as a short condensation of the 1,173 chapters of the New and Old Testament into 16 chapters, so you must read 244 chapters of the New Testament and 929 chapters of the Old Testament carefully to understand the book of Romans. Because we omit this and read the book of Romans as it is without unpacking the compressed content, our understanding of the book of Romans is poor and difficult.
And although the visible part of an iceberg is small, the submerged part is huge. The Titanic sank because they did not understand this well. There is a similar part in Romans, so if we do not understand it well, we may sink like the Titanic in our understanding of Romans.
The meaning of an apostle is also difficult to understand, even though there are people in this era who are called apostles. It is clear that only 12 of Jesus' disciples were recognized as apostles. And later, according to the recognition of these apostles, Paul was recognized as an apostle to the Gentiles.
The meaning of salvation has not been clearly defined until now, but the understanding of being saved simply by believing in Jesus is understood differently in Catholicism and Protestantism. If you look it up through the Bible app, the revised Korean version contains about 500 words for salvation. If we divide it roughly, it appears to have meanings such as saving from death, liberating from oppression, making free, restoring a certain state, being relieved from disease, escaping from curse, exalting, and being rescued from trouble. Only by knowing well the salvation act of Jesus, which contains this meaning, can we finally understand the correct meaning of salvation.
The meaning of heaven is also the same. We must understand the meaning of faith, whether it is faith that we believe in today, faith that comes and goes, or faith that we believe in after a while, so that we can have a correct understanding of the faith that justifies us.
Understanding the Law, which is the foundation of the kingdom of God, can only be said about the Law if you truly understand the meaning of the Pentateuch within the two words the Law and the words of Jesus about the Law. A person who never correctly understands the meaning of the Law cannot reach the correct meaning of Romans.
In order to properly understand Romans, it is essential to understand that God is just. The gospel is love, but there is justice that is just as good. From this definition comes justification from faith, and unless you are thirsty for the definition of God, it is absolutely difficult to understand Romans. Have you ever experienced struggling to live justly despite experiencing all kinds of hardships due to injustice in the world? Those who try to live like that and have never experienced despair at the injustice of the world will not be very thirsty for God's righteousness (a life and heart like Habakkuk's in the late Judah, when the law disappeared).
Under the benefits of capitalism, those who have accumulated food for decades and hundreds of years, believing that their children will be free from the pain of money, and want to live that way, will all become silent about the righteousness of God and will not be thirsty. If this happens, it will be difficult to understand even half of Romans. Whether at Harvard, Oxford, or Yale, a theologian who becomes this way will never try to know the righteousness of God, but rather will be interested in Sandal or Rawls's definition. There are millions of people in Korea who are fascinated by Sandals.
They say they are thirsty for justice and look for Sandals and Rolls, but many believers are silent and uninterested in Jesus and God, who are the vanguard, chief, and perfecter of justice. Because living well is the top priority in life. The United States is no exception to this.
In Romans, God's cool-headed righteousness, like the frost of autumn, is expressed, and from this righteousness comes the righteousness toward believers. He who wants to know the hidden meaning of this justification must take a risk. Deep sea! A person who musters up the courage to go down into the water to see the cold iceberg sees the part of Romans submerged in deep cold water. This comes through evangelism. Just as Jesus did, and as Paul did, one must have experience in preaching the gospel to unbelievers living in the world and fighting against the forces of suffering and darkness. And, living like Habakkuk in the world, one must be one who was trembled against injustice and felt relief and hope only by looking at the Pentateuch at the very time when all hope was lost due to injustice. Only then can we understand the meaning of the expression in Romans that it is not the Law but faith. And it is understandable that the book of Romans and Jesus' words about the Law are not in any way in conflict, but rather that Paul wrote Romans to complete the words of Jesus.
<Jesus is greater than the Law. We keep the Law by believing in and receiving the Holy Spirit, who is greater than the Law.
The One who is greater than the Law, the One who gave the Law to Israel, came directly to this world. Now we must look to Jesus first and listen to his commands. Paul, the 12 disciples, Protestants, Catholics, and Israelis all must first examine the words of Jesus. Then we must read His disciple's writings, Romans, etc.
Following the Law on the Road to Salvation, Now We All Turn to Believing in Jesus
We change our ways to obtain salvation. Then, by believing in Jesus, our sins are forgiven, we receive the Holy Spirit, and now, through the power of the Holy Spirit, we keep the Law and complete it. It is God’s final method for humans.
God is the one who wiped out everyone with Noah's flood.
He is the one who destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah by fire.
And he is the one who destroyed the chosen nation Israel and the surrounding countries.
It is clear that the final judgment will destroy and judge all worlds.
The standard is the Law of the Bible.
Those who are forgiven of their past sins through Jesus and repent of their subsequent sins and are forgiven by God will go to heaven.
It is clear that all humans who do not do so, regardless of who they are, will ultimately be judged by the law and go to hell. And in the era when there was no Law, those who did not hear the gospel would be judged by the Law of conscience given by God.
God's attributes are love and justice. God created people in this image to love and live justly in the world, and gave each person a conscience to protect this love and justice. God allowed people's conscience to prick themselves when they did not love and lived unrighteously. There is a deep connection with the conscience and the heart. Sickness in the heart occurs when one does not love and lives unrighteously, and the conscience becomes sore, rotten, rotten, and sick. If a person lives like that, he or she may develop disease in the heart, which is deeply related to conscience. The meaning of our dead living through the salvation of Jesus may also mean that our sick and rotten conscience is restored and revived. Restoration of conscience will be deeply related to salvation.
The cross shows God's love and justice at the same time>
Just like understanding the Epistle to the Galatians, the understanding of the Holy Spirit in Romans can only be understood if one feels the same way as an evangelist who has received the Holy Spirit, walked with the Holy Spirit, and evangelized. The person who best demonstrated the Holy Spirit through the church and believers throughout his life was Pastor Cho Yong-gi, who lived in Korea. He is the one who best expressed the Holy Spirit through his body, life, and ministry with the saints during the 2,000 years of Christianity. So, before reading the Book of Romans, I hope you understand the Holy Spirit through the ministry of Pastor Cho Yong-gi and then read the Book of Romans. Romans is a book of the Bible that is truly difficult to access to a correct and deep understanding. Every reader of Romans must first know these characteristics of the book of Romans. That is why believers have been fighting and arguing with each other over one verse from Romans for a long time.
All believers who want to understand Romans correctly must repent, be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, receive the Holy Spirit as a gift, evangelize, pioneer a church, and serve as a pastor like Paul. And like Paul, we must live holy and justly in the world and fight against the world. I believe that the book of Romans will be well-opened (understood) only by shepherds and missionaries who live like that. Saints who truly want to learn the Book of Romans well can go and learn from a shepherd who correctly understands the Book of Romans while living that way.
As I share this message, I have no missionary experience or pastoral experience in the church, so I have many shortcomings in my understanding of Romans. There are also many shortcomings in English and Greek that make me completely unsuited to understanding Romans. Although it is still not enough, I share with everyone what I have learned through the grace of the Lord.
I hope that great workers like Paul will emerge one after another in Korea and take on great tasks in establishing the kingdom of God throughout the world. I hope that a great world-class worker like this will emerge from Korea. I earnestly pray that they become workers for the kingdom of God around the world, and that the peace, comfort, and blessings of the Lord come to Korea where such people live.
This is the only and best way for us living in this era to leave the most blessed life to our children and descendants. It is also valuable to have someone study a lot and pass on a lot of money. However, we must know that the population is decreasing, young people are without jobs, suicides are continuing, the land of Korea has become so dry that there is no water to drink comfortably, and it is impossible to live without a mask due to fine dust. In this state of reality, if I were to remain alone on this earth, without any brothers or friends to share my feelings with, and living a bleak life with only material possessions, what happiness would there be in that life?
Korea is a place where even those who win through free competition lose their taste for life. The only hope is you! You thirst for justice! It is you, the saints.
Part Ⅱ Understanding Paul’s feelings
1. The situation of Israel and Rome at the time
2. Paul's cry-exclaim (Everyone becomes one, the role of the Law, evangelizing the present-day Jews: Compatriots! The way to obtain salvation has changed!! It is not the Law, but faith in Jesus. However, this does not mean that we must abandon the Law. No. Rather, we respect and establish the Law))
3. Romans and Paul embracing the whole world
1. Situation of Israel and Rome at the time
When Jesus came 2,000 years ago, the Jews were divided into various sects. As a vassal of Rome, they lived with a degree of religious freedom. There were priests who worshiped at the council, lived scattered throughout Rome, and visited the city of Jerusalem three times a year according to the teachings of the Law.
And there were people like the Pharisees, or scribes, who learned and kept the provisions of the Law well, and most Jews believed in the Old Testament and lived according to it. Priests and scribes became leaders and tried to live according to the Law, and Paul also tried to be the first in learning and keeping the Law.
That tradition has also been passed down to today's Jews, and many Jews have their children learn the Pentateuch before all other studies, and especially have them memorize the Book of Leviticus. And they are trying to put this into practice.
And in the past, Jews always tried to maintain their Jewish identity while adhering to the cultures of Rome and Greece, as well as the customs and laws of the places where they dispersed. The members of the early church were mostly Jews. Therefore, Jews tried to keep Jewish traditions while believing in Jesus, and there were many arguments that Jewish traditions should be followed in relation to the Law, such as circumcision and hair cutting.
In this situation, Apostle Paul always did not forget to preach Jesus according to what he had learned and experienced. This gospel of Apostle Paul is the core content of Apostle Paul's epistles sent to the scattered churches at the time. Now let us understand the feelings of Apostle Paul who wrote the epistles with the help of the Holy Spirit. This understanding is essential to the Law that establish the kingdom of God.
2. Paul’s feelings and cry(shouting)
Apostle Paul was a thorough legalist. From an early age, he was a member of the tribe of Benjamin. He learned the Law and studied under Gamaliel, the greatest scholar of the Law of his time. He was a person who tried to keep the Law flawlessly. He had great faith in this Judaism and believed only in the Old Testament, the scriptures of Judaism, and that Jews with the historical traditions of Israel were the only chosen people of God. And he firmly believed that a powerful savior like King David would appear and liberate his people from the oppression of Rome at the time.
However, the human Jesus appeared, calling himself the savior, and eventually died on a cross. Paul thought that everything that happened because of Jesus was over. However, later, when the Holy Spirit came and the believers spread the gospel, Paul believed them to be a threat to Judaism and took charge of arresting them, imprisoning them, and persecuting them.
In this way, Paul was passionate about Judaism and was confident that he was justified by the Law and would go to heaven as a chosen people.
And at the scene where Stephen was caught and stoned to death, he became one with the group that killed Stephen. Paul firmly believed that this was his mission.
The resurrected Jesus himself appeared to Paul, who was in a frenzy about arresting and imprisoning the people who believed in Jesus. When Jesus, who was God and not Jesus in the flesh, appeared to him, he was riding his horse and immediately became blind and fell from his horse. When something happened to Paul that he had never dreamed of in his life, the entire belief system he had ever believed in collapsed in an instant.
Paul was so shocked and embarrassed that he asked who he was. He heard a voice say, “It is Jesus you are persecuting.” Paul had no choice but to obey that voice. There is absolutely no human being on this earth who would be completely sane if God appeared directly like this. The same thing happened to Paul, just as Job, who was so proud but could not break down despite all the hardships, collapsed in the presence of God.
And the command comes from Jesus: When you enter the city, there will be a man named Ananias, so meet him and be baptized in the name of Jesus and receive the Holy Spirit. Now that he was blind, Paul's highest priority was to meet Ananias and recover his eyesight. As in the past, trying to be justified by the Law and catching people who believe in Jesus no longer remains even 1% of the time in Paul's mind.
And Paul, who instantly recognized that what he was doing was completely wrong, met Ananias and was baptized in the name of Jesus. God forgave all of his past sins to Apostle Paul, who completely repented, and gave him the Holy Spirit as a gift. When Paul received the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit made him realize that all the contents of the Old Testament, which he knew and believed in, were prophecies and Words about Jesus.
After praying and receiving training in the Arabian desert, he now became a witness for Jesus and powerfully preached Jesus. So, the Jews who believed in Jesus at the time thought it strange that the person who persecuted them changed and preached Jesus. When Paul told the story of his past, Peter and others accepted him as his brother and recognized him as an apostle to the Gentiles. He said that along with this he went to the third heaven and saw things that cannot be described in words. And while preaching the gospel, he experienced various miracles. Things happened to him that Paul had never enjoyed, known, or even thought about before, and he constantly heard the Holy Spirit giving commands, comfort, and strength moment by moment through his voice. Although he suffered various persecutions, he always experienced that Jesus was always with him, loving him, and helping him.
Paul became this amazing new creation, and under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, he overcame the Law of sin and death and saw that all things worked together for good. And after spending about 20 years preaching the gospel while experiencing the various gifts and abilities of the Holy Spirit, based on all that knowledge and experience, he finally sent the Epistle to the Romans to the Roman believers under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
However, at that time, some Jews who joined the church he founded said that they believed in Jesus, but they did not try to receive the Holy Spirit and become like him, but instead taught that they must first keep the Law and become righteous, just as Paul had believed in the past. Apostle Paul could not help but be enraged as he saw many of these groups, and he must have thought that they were very dangerous to the church and believers. This was definitely not what Jesus wanted.
They came into the group of believers in Jesus without repentance and taught them that they must first know and learn the Law and live according to the Law. They taught this to the saints whom Paul himself loved, so Paul could never look at this group. He wanted to drive out this group and correct the saints who had been taught by this group, so he wrote Romans and other letters (Galatians).
We must understand Paul's heart as it is. We must first listen to the cry in his heart. And we who study Romans must understand this situation at the time.
He shouts like this. "no! no! Dear scattered saints! It is absolutely not possible to believe that as the Jews teach. You can't live like that. The most important thing is to know Jesus first and believe correctly. To believe in Jesus, you must first repent, be baptized in the name of Jesus, and receive the Holy Spirit.” In fact, looking at Paul's ministry in the Book of Acts, he introduces the Holy Spirit to all those who were baptized in the name of Jesus, those who only received the baptism of John, and those who know a lot about the Bible but do not know about the baptism of the Holy Spirit. And among the members of the Roman and Galatian churches, most of them had already believed in this way and had even received the Holy Spirit. Since these erring Jews did not know the Holy Spirit, they naturally did not know that they could fulfill the Law by practicing love and doing good deeds through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is said that they only emphasized observance of the Law prior to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and in fact, unlike Paul, who kept the strict law of the past, they were not even keeping the Law themselves. In short, an unqualified person became a teacher and lured good people who had received the Holy Spirit. In fact, it seems that there were believers who were deceived and shaken by these people (an expression that asks, “Are you trying to start with the Holy Spirit and end with the flesh?”). Apostle Paul had no choice but to correct this situation.
In fact, they are deceiving the saints who had received the Holy Spirit and were walking in the right direction and causing them to go astray, so Paul is now teaching them again from the beginning through his letter. How upset must Paul be?
To explain this again, at the time, a group of wicked Jews who did not believe in Jesus without repentance, who knew a little about the law and did not even keep it themselves, came into the group of people who well believed in Jesus and taught that they must first know the Law, learn the Law, and live according to the Law. They taught this to the saints he loved, and Paul simply could not bear to see this group. They taught believers to believe and practice the Law just as Paul believed and practiced the Law in the past when he did not even know Jesus, and Paul tried to prevent this. it is not the Law! It's not even an act! First you must believe in Jesus. <And we must receive the Holy Spirit. Now we must preach the gospel and perfect love with the help of the Holy Spirit. We must receive the Holy Spirit and perform miracles. This part of the Acts of the Apostles I have re-emphasized to those of us living in the present age. In fact, the saints at the time of Paul who had already received the Holy Spirit did not need to receive the Holy Spirit again, but only needed to be filled. > You can never be justified by the Law and go to heaven! Sin can only be resolved through faith in Jesus and forgiveness! Believing like that is absolutely not believing in Jesus correctly! Apostle Paul exclaimed.
In other words, a new way has now been opened for all of us to repent, believe in Jesus, be forgiven of our sins, receive the Holy Spirit, and become righteous. I didn't know it before, but after believing in Jesus, receiving the Holy Spirit, and practicing His power while evangelizing, this path is the truth. Truly, now it is most important for both Jews and Gentiles to believe in Jesus.
Observe order! First believe in Jesus! Repent! And receive forgiveness of your sins! Then, the Holy Spirit comes and regenerates you into a completely new and different creation. When you are born again, your heart becomes soft and you can complete the Law that you could not do in the past. There is a world of different dimensions. There is a world that can never be reached through keeping the Law. I live and enjoy that world. All Jews and Jewish believers must never be in the level of the old law(the supervision of the law). I become new. Thanks to God's love and the shedding of blood and death of Jesus, we believe in this and become newly created through the gift and filling of the Holy Spirit. When I look back at myself in the past, I thought that all the things I knew and believed in the past were everything, but in my current state, they are like excrement. (This is absolutely not the case regarding the Law. This is simply an expression of what Paul thought and did before believing in Jesus.) My current state cannot be compared to the past.
Please do not try to be righteous by keeping the Law like I used to do! If you live like that, there will be no love, no justice, and no heaven. And now Jesus has come to save all people. God is definitely not the God of the Jews only. He is the Creator of the whole world, who loves and desires to save all human beings.
Now please believe in Jesus first! This is what the Apostle Paul shouts to the members of the Roman church. This is to emphasize again that believers who have already believed in Jesus, repented, and received the Holy Spirit are going astray. There is absolutely no saying that the Law is not important. This is by no means a story about abandoning the Law. It is a call to first prioritize believing in Jesus. You must understand this and read Romans and Galatians.
And so that no one can think differently about the Law, Apostle Paul says in Romans 3:31, “Does living like this break the law? That is not possible. On the contrary, it establishes the law.”
Romans 3:31. Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law.
How does Paul establish the Law after believing in Jesus and receiving the Holy Spirit? In the past, Paul learned the provisions of the Law on his own and did his best to keep them, and as he saw himself living that way, he considered himself blameless and righteous. However, he absolutely did not understand why Jesus came and rebuked the scribes to keep all the provisions of the Law and, more importantly, to practice righteousness, faithfulness, and love. On the contrary, he took it for granted that the teachers of the Law asked Jesus what they were doing and hung him on a cross to death. Paul was no different from these people.
However, after receiving the Holy Spirit and preaching the gospel with Jesus, he came to know what true love is. And as Paul lived his life overcoming the lust of his flesh under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, things that were not considered sin before were recognized as sin. Through a life led by the Holy Spirit, he confirmed that not only the letter and letter of the Law was truly followed, but also the more important things, love, righteousness, and faithfulness. He confirmed that the Holy Spirit fulfills all Laws through the preaching of the gospel and good deeds.
So he said that love completes the Law and that the law of the Holy Spirit of life overcomes the law of sin and death. In the end, as he was renewed and preached the gospel under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, he now saw himself living in obedience to all the Laws that Paul had been unable to completely keep even though he tried to do so alone in the past. This is expressed in Romans 3:31 as establishing the Law through faith.
And Paul said that you can only understand sin if you know the Law, so if you know the Law and are moved by the Holy Spirit, you can discern sin. That's how it happened. And he knew very well that he was mistaken and kept the Law and lived believing that he was righteous when he was not, and he did not want anyone to be like him before. With this mind, he writes all his letters, Romans, and Galatians.
Guys! If you do not prioritize believing in Jesus, but instead believe in the Law and become righteous through it, there is first no repentance and no forgiveness from God for your sins. So, since injustice still exists, God will never recognize such people as righteous. And, more importantly, the Holy Spirit never comes as a gift to sinful people. Without the baptism or gift of the Holy Spirit, this person has not been born again and must live by his own strength. Therefore, the problem of sin cannot be solved and there will be no Holy Spirit, eternal life, or heaven. Don't be fooled! To these people, Apostle Paul said, “Don’t live like that!” Don't do what I used to do! The next thing Apostle Paul would say is, believe in Jesus! It is done. In addition, all church members should be alert to Jews who teach this way(like Paul belived before)and should not follow such people or tolerate them in the church.
This process is expressed in the Book of Romans in the Bible as ‘It is not the law, you are not justified by the Law, you must believe in Jesus first.’ In other words, they are trying to suppress Jesus with the Law, but in reality, it is the believer's duty to believe in Jesus and fulfill the Law, and Apostle Paul himself lived that way. However, the saints who already believed in Jesus and received the Holy Spirit met a liar and abandoned Jesus and turned to the Law, so Apostle Paul told them to believe in Jesus. Again, teaching them from the beginning.
And while explaining this, Apostle Paul clearly states in Romans 3:31 that one should not ignore the Law for fear that someone may ignore the Law and act carelessly.
There is no one in heaven or on earth who can say that. Jesus, who is God, clearly said in Matthew 5 that we must keep the Law, so now there is no one in this world who will say that we do not need to keep the Law. I hope that those who do that will think deeply about how great a sin they are committing against God and the saints.
Since Jesus fulfilled the ceremonial regulations, that is, the sacrificial regulations, by becoming the sacrificial Law, the sacrifice, and the priest, there would be no need for us to sacrifice animals. However, if you learn these aspects well, you can better understand the ministry of Jesus. There will be a quick discussion on this matter, and shepherds will have to teach the believers well what regulations of the Law they must follow.
Now, please look at Romans and Paul’s letters with this feeling. And by uploading my previous article as is, I will explain the faith that is the basis of the kingdom of God, which is justification from faith, and the Law that is the framework of the kingdom of God.
But before that, there is a question that needs to be addressed. It is an early church where most people had already repented in order, believed in Jesus, received forgiveness for their sins, and received the Holy Spirit. And all the churches founded by Apostle Paul were like that. But why did the believers of that time tolerate and follow these false teachers, those who taught like this? How did Apostle Paul stand upright in the truth, rebuke these false teachers, and tell believers not to tolerate evil people? Except for Apostle Paul, there were times when even Peter and Barnabas wavered between the Law and faith.
Although there may be some shortcomings, I would like to explain the reason through my own experience. I received the Holy Spirit as described in Acts 2:37-38. God came through the Bible and gave me fear. When I look at the Bible, I see myself in a mirror through 1 Corinthians 13. I was a perfect, vicious sinner without any love whatsoever. When I saw through the Bible how wrong I was, I immediately cried and prayed to God to use me as a tool. And I could never live without the love of my past. How could I think and act like I did in the past when it was so clear to me that I was such an evil being in the past? I completely repented and struggled for five years to live like 1 Corinthians 13. It really wasn't easy. And actually, I couldn't live like that 100%. However, I strongly denied my past self and tried my best to love people. And I was baptized in the name of Jesus. It was May 19, 1991(Approximately, about 5 years after meeting Jesus through the Word) And in the winter before spring the following year, while preaching at the Seonmin Church in Sillim-dong, Seoul, Pastor Park Ki-soo suddenly cried and Jesus came, filling the temple. He was a black and white man with a large facial beard. And from his mouth he spewed red fire into my chest. I saw several small candle-like flames burning in my heart. It wasn't a big fire. My hands began to sweat and I believed that if I touched someone who believed in Jesus, they would definitely be healed. And it was like being in heaven for three days. I passed the first exam of the civil service exam and had to take the second exam soon, but I couldn't think of everything in the world. Now I had to go back to the way the world used to be, and I thought I should do it well. And when I touched a sick person, the illness was healed, tongues became clear, and various miracles appeared. It was something God did through me. It was an amazing experience so good that I can't even tell anyone about it.
After failing the second civil service examination by one point, I decided to become a pastor, read and organized the Bible, and prepared for theological graduate school. I went through a lot and in 2011 I was ordained as a pastor. At this time, while preparing a thesis titled “A Study on Church Growth from the Perspective of an Evangelist,” I looked at Acts 2:37-38 and was able to realize that what had happened to Peter and others had also happened to me. I came to know this about 18 years after receiving the Holy Spirit.
Acts 2:37. When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do?"
38. Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
39. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off -- for all whom the Lord our God will call."
40. With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, "Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.“
Of course, I didn't know the Bible very well, so I learned what I was told at church. I always went to church well, but I had no position. I mainly did evangelism in the evangelism team, but now I had to study theology and become a pastor, so I studied the Bible and also worked as a teacher for three years. Of course, I had no choice but to learn the teachings of the pastor in charge. (Teacher at Jamsil Church) And while studying for the civil service exam in Sillim-dong for about 5-6 years at the Full Gospel Church, I learned Bible studies and listened to sermons. I took this learning with me and married my ex-wife, who was a Catholic, and we fought a lot. I believe it was probably due to my own immaturity in all aspects of faith rather than the teachings of the church. I couldn't do it, so I went to the cathedral, and my ex-wife also came to Jamsil Church (I got married in 1994 and attended Jamsil Church, and I still go there to this day). I also learned Catholic theology (general theology of believers) at the cathedral, took a lecture on Romans, and listened to what my wife was reading. I also read various Catholic books. And after my ex-wife left home, I suffered four years of severe insomnia and depression. Then, I came to my senses again, started evangelizing, remarried, and resumed theology. The loss my ex-wife left was so great, and her complete devotion changed me a lot. I was very proud of myself because I received the Holy Spirit and studied well enough to fail the second exam of the public administration exam by just 1 point. In reality, I was a beginner who didn't know much about the Bible or faith, but I didn't think of myself that way. Indeed, my ex-wife was my great teacher, teaching me with love. Through my ex-wife, I saw Jesus loving a sinner who had nothing to love. So I could never say that Catholicism was wrong, and I read Catholic books myself, but I only saw good things about it. There was really depth and precision. And even 4 years of hell-like life was a blessed time for me to understand the Bible. It brought me to a very low place. I was blocked from everything in the world, including the 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup.
The new wife was an Orthodox Korean of Russian nationality, and was very similar to the Caucasian in every way. We fought non-stop for about 20 years. It was so hard for me to take care of my wife that I felt like Moses leading 2 million people into the wilderness. My wife was very hard. She said that no matter how hard it was, she would never marry me even if I were the only man on the planet. In the midst of all this, fighting and suffering, this is how my faith was formed.
Although I received the Holy Spirit, I did not know the Bible well, I was not a mature believer, no one recognized me, and I was not a pastor, so of course I had no choice but to obey the teachings of the church? And for about 30 years, I read the Bible, organized it, prayed, and evangelized without ceasing, and lived in extreme economic hardship. Since 1983, when I left the bank, I have always lived a tight life. I suffered from poverty for over 40 years. In the midst of this, God guided everything, so the above things were done. The fact that I came to this conclusion about faith and Law is 100% God’s work.
Now you will understand why the saints who received the Holy Spirit were deceived by false Jewish legalists. I explained this at length to make you understand. Even if you receive the Holy Spirit, you must learn the Bible, do evangelism yourself, and study various things well. You absolutely cannot know everything at once just because you have received the Holy Spirit, and there is no need or possibility to do so. Even after receiving the Holy Spirit, we still have to eat and live each day. Married life, family life, and work life must also be managed. Is there a place where the church feeds people who have received the Holy Spirit like the early church did? Rather, there is no church in modern times that recognizes and feeds believers who have received the Holy Spirit given by God, rather than feeding pastors who study theology and carry out ministry. On the contrary, those who received the Holy Spirit like those in the early church receive the teachings of these pastors and live in obedience to the laws of the church, becoming deacons, elders, and deacons. I feel so sad when I see them. It's so sad to see people who learn so well and could do great things just spend their lives like that. O one who has received hot fire! Don't give up until the end and grow according to the Holy Spirit! Go that way, embracing not only the church but the whole world!!
However, there are still many flaws, so those who have received the Holy Spirit must take these into consideration and always be humble and must learn the Bible well. Everything that has happened to me is God’s arrangement, so I have nothing to claim. For those who are poor and lacking like me, God always loves me, Jesus is always with me, and the Holy Spirit always moves me and enlightens me. So it’s all thanks to God’s love and patience. And it is thanks to God’s amazing grace. And my two wives love me with all their might, my family takes care of me, and the church prays and serves me as I write this, so I have received great help from them. Thank you to everyone. And I pray that God’s endless comfort and blessings come to everyone.
Truly, I am a person like a stone. God made me repent through the words of the Bible and washed away my sins with the precious blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit came and regenerated me and melted my heart. And I preached for 30 years, read and organized the Bible, and experienced all kinds of hardships. And I received great love from the church and the people around me who loved me. The love and devotion of my mother and younger brother was constant. So, even after my 60th birthday, I have a tireless desire to build the kingdom of God, and this is like Paul running while looking at the sign. All glory goes to God. Hallelujah!
3. Romans and Paul embracing the whole world
The reason why the book of Romans is difficult to understand is because it embraces the whole world, and the apostle Paul also embraces all mankind, breaking away from the narrow perspective of the Jews.
Romans requires a legal understanding, but it already discusses legalism in criminal punishment 2,000 years ago. And the book of Romans includes all mankind, past, present and future, as its subject of discussion. It explains that people in the past when there was no Law were judged by the law of conscience, people in the era after the Law were judged by the Law, and people after the coming of Jesus were judged according to whether they believed in Jesus or not.
And the book of Romans discusses the sins and salvation of all people in the world, regardless of whether they are barbarians, Greeks, Romans, or Jews, or of any race, nation, or country. Its scale includes all time and embraces all people. So, it is difficult to understand due to its temporal length and its breadth, which includes all people who have lived in the world, those who live, and those who will live on this earth in the future.
Living in modern times, 2000 years after the coming of Jesus, it is urgent to evangelize Islam, evangelize Jews, and evangelize unreached peoples, and unite them to establish the kingdom of God. The book of Romans explains everything necessary to truly save all modern nations and peoples and establish the kingdom of God on this earth. The reason why Romans is the word of God is because it was written 2,000 years ago and is still accepted without a single error even in modern times. What kind of person could write like this? We cannot help but acknowledge the inspiration of the Holy Spirit of Apostle Paul.
In today's era, the Catholic Church, the Protestant Church, and the Orthodox Church understand the Book of Romans slightly differently, and the Israelites who delivered the Old Testament only try to learn and keep the Old Testament and the Pentateuch, or the Law.
At this time, when we were trying to evangelize to the Jews, we asked, “Hey! Why do you keep the Law? Jesus has come, so now you just have to believe in Jesus!” If you say this, you may not be able to evangelize the Jews forever.
However, if we understand Romans correctly, we will explain first, “Yes! You keep the Law well, and that is truly precious and right! Jesus also wanted us to keep the Law word for word! However, the scribes at the time of Jesus kept the Law word for word, "They were so focused on formality that they did not practice the spirit of the Law, love, justice, and faith! That's why he scolded the scholars of the Law at the time!"
And then, “Even Apostle Paul did not ignore the Law! Are you alone in the whole world trying to keep the Law, but is it difficult? We also recognize the Law! We recognize it as the most fair and just law in the world, given by God to all mankind! So! "We believe in Jesus and try to keep it even better than you Jews. We also want to establish a kingdom of God ruled by the Law! We will never ignore the Laws you so well believe in!" This will be explained. And then,
Like Apostle Paul, we will tell them, "You must believe in Jesus, so that your sins are forgiven, you receive the Holy Spirit, and now you can truly fulfill the Law. Now you and all the Israelites must believe in Jesus.“
There will be a big difference in the method between the first approach and the next approach.
How did Apostle Paul treat the Jews and how does he want us to evangelize to them now?
I go with the latter. Depending on one's understanding of Romans, the strategy for evangelizing the Jews of today is very different. Indeed, then and now, the Jews consistently learn the Law well and only try to live according to the Law, and do not believe in Jesus.
However, God said that when the time comes, He will bring the Jews back. Because of God's amazing grace of enlightenment, I will explain what I have explained so far when I have the opportunity to meet Jews and evangelize to them. God has already given these contents to them through the Book of Ezekiel, so this verse will bring the Jews back. Let's watch it together and get to the point.
Ezekiel 36:24. "`For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land.
25. I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols.
26. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
27. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.
28. You will live in the land I gave your forefathers; you will be my people, and I will be your God.
Lastly, to all the people in the world who always read my writing,
A big thank you to everyone.
About 350,000 people gave me the strength to write without stopping for about 5 years.
I hope everyone becomes a spiritual master. thank you
