1. Bowel sound

1. Hypoactive bowel sound

   -infrequent occuring sound at a rate of less than 5/min. soft, low sound

2. Normoactive bowel sound

   -10~30/min or 2~3 every 15sec

3. Hyperactive bowel sound

   ->30/min , loud, gurgling rushed sound

2. Egophony

   정의 : increased resonace of voice sound heard when ausculating the lung

   원인 : lung consolidation, fibrosis

   병리 : enhanced transmission of high frequency noise across fluid

   방법 : 환자에게 청진기를 대고 'E' 라고 말하게 한다. 계속 E 라고 말하게 하고 정상부위에서 폐렴이 있는 부위로 청진기를 대면 A 라고 들린다. E->A

3. appendictis P/Ex

 1. Rovsing sign : palpation of LLQ worsens RLQ pain

 2. Psoas sign : extension of R leg at hip while pt lies on L side elicits abd pain

 3. Obturator sign : internal and external rotation of thigh at hip elicits pain

 4. Tenderness on palpation in Mcburney's point(midway between the anterosuperior iliac spine and belly)

4. Dorsal pedis pulse , Posterior tibial pulse

 1. Dorsal pedis pulse : place your finger half way down the dorsum of the foot on the bony area in the between the first and second toes

 2. Posterior tibial pulse : 2~3 cm below medial malleolus
