Revelation 3:12 – The name of God the Father, the new name of the Holy City of New Jerusalem, and the new name of Jesus Christ

☞ <Revelation> 3:12 - Him who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will he leave it. I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on him my new name. (NIV); Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. (KJV); All who are victorious will become pillars in the Temple of my God, and they will never have to leave it. And I will write on them the name of my God, and they will be citizens in the city of my God - the new Jerusalem that comes down from heaven from my God. And I will also write on them my new name.) (1-1) As I already mentioned ‘a white stone with a new name’ of <Revelation> 2:17 in <Bible Matrix ⑦_177>, <Revelation> 3:12 prophesies, ”I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on him my new name”. (NIV). Three names will be written simultaneously on him who overcomes or on them those who overcome.

(1-2) Since it is prophesied that <Revelation> 14:1, it reads, “144,000 who had his (Jesus’) name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads”(NIV) and <Revelation> 22:4, it reads, “his (God the Father’s) name will be on their foreheads,”(NIV) it sures that the name of God the Father, the name of New Jerusalem, and the new name of Jesus Christ will also be written on the forehead of the one who overcomes. The reason why it is written on the forehead will be explained later.

(1-3) In <The New Jerusalem>, since Jesus Christ shall also have a new name, it is certain that those who will enter the New Jerusalem will receive a new name, not the name used in the earth. The new name will be written on a white stone, which no one knows but the one who receives it. (Revelation 2:17, Bible Matrix ⑦_177).

(1-4) Many people interpret ‘the name of New Jerusalem' as his status or his name of 'citizenship or permanent residency living in Jerusalem', but judging from “the name of God, the name of New Jerusalem, and the new name of Jesus will be written on him who overcomes”, and also there is no name of him who overcomes, so it is not a paper or card or digital citizenship or ID card we think of on earth. It is not an identification card to prove oneself, but it means that God the Father and I become one as the son of God the Father (John 10:30), New Jerusalem and I become one, and Jesus and I become one.

(1-5) In a word, those who overcome will become the people of New Jerusalem and will become the people of God the Father and Jesus, and it means that God the Father and Jesus will live with them (Revelation 21:3). At the same time, since the throne of God the Father and the throne of Jesus will be in the Holy City of New Jerusalem (Revelation 22:3), those who overcome will become priests (Revelation 1:6, 5:10) and serve God the Father and Jesus Christ (Revelation 22:3) and will see the face of God the Father and the face of Jesus Christ (Revelation 22:4).

(1-6) In this regard, as I mentioned in <Bible Matrix ⑦_177>, ‘the new name on the white stone’ in <Revelation> 2:17 must be an identification card or a letter of appointment engraved with one’s new name. However, for a new name, no one knows except the one who receives it.
