Mike & The Mechanics

마이크 앤 더 메카닉스(Mike and the Mechanics, )는 
1985년 마이크 러더포드가 도버에서 결성한 영국 록 슈퍼그룹으로, 
처음에는 그의 초기 그룹 제네시스의 공백기 동안 
사이드 프로젝트로 활동했습니다. 

밴드는 히트 싱글 "Silent Running", "All I Need Is a Miracle", "Taken In",
"The Living Years", "Word of Mouth"및 "Over My Shoulder"로 유명합니다.

처음에 밴드에는 러더포드(유일한 고정 멤버), 보컬리스트 폴 캐랙과 폴 영, 
키보드 연주자 에이드리언 리, 드러머 피터 반 훅이 포함되었습니다. 
10년 동안 함께한 후 Lee와 Van Hooke는 1995년에 중퇴했고 교체되지 않았습니다. 

2000년 영이 사망한 후 캐랙은 밴드(이 시점에서 본질적으로 듀오)가 해체된 
2004년까지 밴드의 유일한 리드 보컬이 되었으며 
러더포드와 캐랙은 모두 밴드가 "그 과정을 밟았다"는 데 동의했습니다.

2010년에 밴드는 러더포드가 보컬리스트 앤드류 로치포드와 
팀 하워를 포함한 완전히 새로운 뮤지션들을 이끌면서 부활했습니다.
