What does “IB” actually stand for?

We asked our students. The answers...were not always what we expected.

From “Ice Burger” to “I’m Busy”, everyone had an answer. But only one is correct: International Baccalaureate.

Then again, maybe those unexpected answers are exactly what you get when you encourage students to think creatively, think differently, and not be afraid to come up with their own ideas.

At Fairview, IB is about more than memorising the right answer. It is about learning how to think, ask questions, explore perspectives, and approach problems from different angles.
