허걱~ “appreciate” 에 “sarcastic” 의 뉘앙스가? appreciate 는 “음악, 미술작품 등을 감상하다. 그 진가를 인정하다” 의 뜻으로 쓰이고 Business Letter 와 같은 문어체에서는 thankful, grateful 의 대용으로 널리 쓰이기에 현직에 있을 때도 애용하던(?) 단어였는데, 원어민 수준의 하늘님이 그러니 “깜놀~ ^^” 내친김에 영영사전을 찾아 보니… [VERB] If you appreciate something, for example a piece of music or good food, you like it because you recognize its good qualities. In time you'll appreciate the beauty and subtlety of this language. 어쨌거나 영어는 정말 어려운 언어입니다...^^

@하늘을나는하지만 when someone asked you for a special request you normally don't say it to the reqestor. 내가 당신을 위해 아주 칭찬받을만한 일을 했으니 고마워 하시요 라는 의미가 되거나 아니면 it could be meant as a friendly sarcasm.. ^^
이 곡은 박일남의 “갈때의(?) 순정” 이란 곡과 분위기가 비슷한 것 같습니다...^^ 사나이 우는 마음을 그 누가 아랴 (Where did we lose it? My heart will break) 바람에 흔들리는 갈 때의 순정 (Tonight we'll reach the hour we set for parting.) 사랑엔 약한 것이 사나이 마음 (We wanted to be free, we both said so.) 울지를 말아라 아~~아~~ (What’s there to do, what can I say?) 갈 때의 순정 (It hurts so much to see you go) I tried a broken phrase-to-phrase connection just for fun...^^
