Bible Reading - Romans 5:1~10

5:1 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 그러므로 우리가 믿음을 통해 의롭다함을 받았기에 우리는 우리 주 예수 그리스도를 통하여 하나님과 화평을 누리며

5:2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. 

그를 통해 믿음으로 지금 우리가 서 있는 이 은혜에 이르게 되었다.

And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.

그리고 우리는 하나님의 영광의 소망 안에서 기뻐한다.

5:3 Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, 

그럴 뿐만 아니라 우리는 고난 중에서도 기뻐한다.

because we know that suffering produces perseverance;

왜냐하면 우리는 고난이 인내를 산출하고

5:4 perseverance, character; and character, hope.  인내는 연단을 연단은 소망을 산출한다.

5:5 And hope does not disappoint us, 그리고 소망은 우리를 실망시키지 않는다.

because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.

왜냐하면 하나님이 우리에게 주신 성령으로 우리 마음에 그의 사랑을 쏟아부어주셨기 때문이다.

5:6 You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.

알다시피, 바로 그때, 우리가 아직 무기력했을 때, 그리스도께서는 불경건한 자들을 위해 죽으셨다.

5:7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die.

의로운 사람을 위해 목숨을 바치는 사람은 극히 드물지만, 선한 사람을 위해서는 누군가 기꺼이 목숨을 바칠 수도 있을 것이다.

5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this:

그러나 하나님께서 이로서 우리를 위해 그 자신의 사랑을 나타내셨다.

While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

우리가 여전히 죄인이었을 때에, 그리스도께서 우리를 위해 죽으셨다.

5:9 Since we have now been justified by his blood, 우리가 이제 그의 피로 의롭다함을 받았으니 

how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him!

얼마나 더욱더 우리는 그를 통해 하나님의 진노로부터 구원을 받을 것인가?

5:10 For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!

우리가 하나님의 원수였을 때에도 그의 아들의 죽음으로 말미암아 하나님과 화해하게 되었다면, 하물며 화해한 후에는 그의 생명으로 말미암아 얼마나 더 구원받겠느냐!
