at first i am so sorry for writing in english. just want to share something that i heard n know with someone like u or who is interested in. nothing else.

u r right. nobody play the music by Cardel at the milonga. acutally i danced at one milonga in Bs.As. with Gardel's before.^^ but it's not normal. because it's not to dance like as corsini, magaldi...

in addtion, there r a lot of tango music to dance at the milonga by orq. of 30's n 40's.

there were a lot of women singers too. but many of them were just singer to song. it is called Cansionista.

f.e: Maizani, Quiroga, Lamarque, Simone....ect. they were great singer but diferent from Lita Morales who sang with Donato like as estribillista means singer sings just a part of tango. f.e, for 1 minite more or less.

f.e, Fiorentino, Castillo, Vargas, Rufino...of period of 40s. around from the end of  40's some singer started to sing whole part of music.  because they were owners of orq. so they could manage n sing what they wanted.

Gardel past away in 1935 in Columbia but Argentinian still love him n listen to his voice everyday.

but i have no idea about "Adios muchacho". just heard that he didn't want to do that trip. that tango by Rodriguez with Moreno is good to dance.

i am so glad to see that someone is interested in the history of tango.^^
