BALSAMIC MARTINI
1½ ounces gin
1½ teaspoons dry vermouth
1 teaspoon aged balsamic vinegar
1 or 2 two olives for garnish (see note below)
* This drink only works with aged balsamic vinegar.
* Fill a martini glass with ice and let sit white you prepare the drink.
Fill a shaker or tall glass half full with ice.
Add the gin and vermouth.
Stir gently with a long thin swizzle stick or even a skewer.
You don't want to break up the ice, simply have it chill the drink well.
Empty the ice out of the prepared martini glass, and strain the drink into it.
Garnish with an olive or two.
Note : Martini olives are pitted, often stuffed with pimientos, and usually martinated in vermouth.
They are available in almost every supermarket.
