8:1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,그러므로 이제 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 자들에게 정죄함이 없다. 8:2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. 왜냐하면 그리스도 예수를 통하여 생명의 성령의 법이 죄와 사망의 법으로부터 나를 자유롭게 했기 때문이다. 8:3 For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature, 율법은 죄악된 본성으로 말미암아 약해졌으므로, 율법이 할 수 없었던 일을 행하기 위하여God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering. 하나님은 자신의 아들을 죄 많은 인간의 모양으로 보내어 속죄 제물로 삼으심으로써 그렇게 하셨다.And so he condemned sin in sinful man, 그리하여 그는 죄악된 사람 속에 있는 죄를 정죄하셨다. 8:4 in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit.이는 우리가 육신의 본성을 따라 살지 않고 성령을 따라 살므로, 율법의 의로운 요구가 우리 안에서 온전히 이루어지게 하려 함이다. 8:5 Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires;죄악된 본성에 따라 살아가는 사람들은 그 본성이 원하는 것에 마음을 두게 된다. but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.그러나 성령을 따라 사는 사람들은 성령께서 원하시는 것에 마음을 둔다. 8:6 The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace;죄악된 인간의 마음은 사망이지만, 성령의 지배를 받는 마음은 생명과 평안이다. 8:7 the sinful mind is hostile to God. 죄악된 마음은 하나님께 적대적이다It does not submit to God's law, nor can it do so. 그것은 하나님의 율법에 복종하지 않으며 할 수도 없다. 8:8 Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God. 죄악된 본성에 지배를 받는 자들은 하나님을 기쁘시게 할 수 없다. 8:9 You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. 그러나 하나님의 성령이 너희 안에서 살아계시면 너희는 죄악된 본성에 지배를 받지 않고 성령의 지배를 받는 다.And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. 그리고 만일 어떤 사람이 그리스도의 영을 가지고 있지 않다면, 그는 그리스도에게 속한 자가 아니다.  8:10 But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, 그러나 만일 그리스도께서 너희 안에 계시면 너희의 몸은 죄때문에 죽었다.yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness. 그러나 너희의 영은 의 때문에 살아있다.
