Bible Reading - Romans 8:11~19

8:11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, 

그리고 만일 죽은 자들로부터 예수를 살리신 그의 영이 너희 안에 살아계시다면

he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you.

죽은 자들로부터 그리스도를 살리신 그가 너희 안에서 살아계신 그의 영을 통하여 너희의 한시적인 몸들에게 또한 생명을 주실 것이다.

8:12 Therefore, brothers, we have an obligation-- but it is not to the sinful nature, to live according to it.

그러므로 형제 여러분, 우리에게는 의무가 있으나 그것은 죄악된 본성에 따라 살아야 할 의무가 아니다.

8:13 For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; 

만일 너희가 죄악된 본성에 따라 산다면, 너희는 죽을 것이나

but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live,

그러나 만일 여러분이 성령으로 말미암아 몸의 악행을 죽이면 살 것이다.

8:14 because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

왜냐하면 하나님의 성령에 의해 인도함을 받는 자들은 하나님의 아들이기 때문이다.

8:15 For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. 너희는 다시 너희를 두려워하는 종으로 만드는 영을 받지 않았으나 아들을 되게 하는 영을 받았다.

And by him we cry, "Abba, Father."그리고 그의 의하여 우리는 "아바 아버지"라고 부르짖는다.

8:16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children.

성령 그 자신이 우리가 하나님의 자녀인 것을 우리의 영과 더불어 증거하신다. 

8:17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs--heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ,

만일 우리가 자녀들이라면 그러면 우리는 하나님의 상속자들이며 그리스도와 함께 하는 상속자들이다. 

if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

만일 참으로 우리가 또한 그의 영광 가운데 나누기 위해 그의 고난에 동참한다면  

8:18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. 나는 우리의 현재 고난이 우리 안에서 계시 되어질 영광과 비교할 가치가 없다고 생각한다.

8:19 The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed.

피조물은 하나님의 아들들이 나타나기를 간절히 기다리고 있다.
