*This battle went into a "tie", because apparently the judges found it hard to judge due to Ground Zero continuously butting in and floorhogging (not by routines but when 1 of their bboys comes in another of theirs goes out). A 1 round 3 on 3 battle was to be done as the tiebreaker... Hong 10, Ducky, and Hyo Kuen against BooRock, Bebe, and another guy (sorry i forget his name). It reached the final guy who was Hyo Kuen but Bebe was like not giving him the floor, so after that and GZ trying their floor hogging, routines in the 3 on 3, and bully tactics Crazy Legs decided to disqualify them.

GZ의 끊임없는 방해(배틀도중 끼어드는걸 말하는듯)와 플로어점령(루틴이 아닌 한사람씩 연속적으로 나와)으로 인해 심판에 어려움을 느꼈기때문에 이 배틀은 "tie"로 흘렀다. 3 on 3 배틀 1 라운드는 홍텐, 덕키, 효근 vs 부락, 베베, @@@@로 마지막에 효근이 할때 베베가 floor를 내주지 않았고 그후에도 GZ가 floor를 점령하고, 루틴을 하는등의 거친 전술에 Crazy legs가 그들을 탈락시키기로 하였다.

From the very start at the Preparty i kinda got the impression that USA really wanted to prove themselves this year. They had pure aggression and hate towards the Koreans right from the moment they arrived. They wanted to intimidate the team, totally outnumbering them in terms of crews.

We all knew that something like this was gonna happen. If Korea had won, it would have been against all the odds, which would have made it special... and which they did, but not officially.

Shame on the US for their pathetic ways in winning. They will totally feel that they didn't win it for real. And they didn't. Is it the American mentality that in order to win you need to have an allstar crew involving Skills Methods, Havikaro, and some Rock Steady... as well as Ground Zero Crew...as well as influencing the judges beforehand? They've resorted to scumbag techniques, and whatever they say they cannot use any excuse because it was so obvious and blatent. They've lost all respect and credibility.

I'm sure that there are loads of you American guys that are totally honest and cool... but will you take this sort of behaviour happening because these guys are representing your country and that's not right.

I would not be surprised if Korea decide not to enter next year. Why should you enter if you know that whatever you do you will not win? This weekend was meant to be about respect and appreciation of mad bboying. I hung out with the Koreans for a bit, and hardly any of them speak english... but the manager did. As soon as they arrived they were treated like dirt, given no respect and were totally stepped on. There is a line in battle of aggression and bullying that you shouldn't cross. In crossing that line your basically saying to yourself that you believe that you don't think that you can win.

I've spoken to some of Old Skool bboys that believe that they won fair and square. The main reason? Something called "Foundations" in bboying. Apparently Koreans have none. Apparently Koreans cant dance and don't listen to the music. All they do is big "Blowup" moves.

그들이 우승이 공정했다고 믿는 몇몇 Old Skool 비보이들과 얘기를 했다. 우승의 주요이유(?)는 흔히들 말하는 비보잉에 있어서의 "foundations" 이었다. 한국비보이들에게는 없다. 한국 비보이들은 춤을 추지 못한다. 한국비보이들은 음악을 못탄다. 그들이 할 수 있는 건 커다랗게 "과장된" 동작들뿐이다.

It's a shame that they believe this, i have respect for Old Skool bboys because they represented in the day. But what they are saying is that only Americans have foundation because they invented bboying. Isn't it ironic that they go on all about "bboying is welcome for all"... that is until other countries train much harder and reach a much higher level then them.

그들이 그렇게 믿다니 부끄러운 일이다. Old Skool 비보이들은 그 당시를 대표하는 사람들이기 때문에 나는 그들을 존경한다. 그러나 그들이 말하는 것은 그들이 비보잉을 개발했기 때문에 오직 미국비보이만이 foundation을 가지고 있다는 것이다.
항상 "비보잉은 모두를 환영한다"라고 말해왔던 그들인데 아이러니하지 않은가? 이건 다른 나라들이 열심히 연습하고 그들보다 더 높은 레벨에 도달하기 전까지만이란 말인가?

Koreans have foundations. They have style and battle athiquite. They have all this and more. I kinda see this new style being formed for the next generation bboys. I'm not saying that you don't need the foundations, ie toprock, floorwork and freezes... but at this time the foundations are just standard shit and you need some extra spark ontop of that too. Creativity and imagination is something that every bboy needs. Creating themed sets and routines that show teamwork are standard. I see this (mainly) in Korea, France, and some of the US (Please don't take offence for not mentioning your country!!^_^;. Bboying needs to evolve otherwise we'd be seeing the same shit over and over again. Fucking USA would win every year just because they have invented bboying, and we'd all try to copy them because that's the only way to win.
<br>한국비보이들은 foundation을 가지고 있다. 그들은 스타일과 배틀에 대한 매너도 있다. 그들은 그 이상을 가지고 있다. 다음 세대 비보이들에 대한 새로운 스타일이 만들어지는 것을 보기도 했다. 탑락, 풋워크 같은 기초가 필요 없다고 말하는 것이 아니다. 단지 지금은 기초는 단지 기본적인 것이고 그위에 추가적인 무엇인가가 있어야 한다는 것이다. 창의력과 상상력은 비보이들에게 필요한 그 무엇이다.
팀웍을 보여주는 루틴과 창의적인 주제의 set는 기본이다. 이런것들을 주로 나는 한국, 프랑스, 일부 미국팀에게 보았다. 비보잉은 우리들이 매번 보는 똑같은 짓거리(^^::)를 다른 관점에서 발전시키는 것을 필요로 한다.
<br>단지 비보잉을 개발했다고 해서 매년 미국이 우승하는건 fucking...(해석이 영..-_-;;) 또한 우리들은 그들을 이기기 위한 유일한 방법이기 때문에 그들을 카피하려고 할 것이다.

Reasons why I and quite a lot of people think that it was a complete set up:

나를 비롯한 꽤 다수의 사람들이 이 대회가 짜여진것같다고 보는 이유는 다음과 같다...

1. Crumbs is a judge... and part of their crew.
<br>
2. The agressive attitude towards the Koreans at the preparty, kinda stating to them that they were gonna win.
<br>
3. 2 US Crews entering a 8 crew tournament.
<br>
4. Both crews being drawn against them.
<br>
5. Koreans losing to some guys from Skills Methods for no obvious reason in the solos and then reaching the semis 3 way.
<br>
6. The fact that Ground Zero was allowed a tie battle.
<br>
7. The complete demolition of Methods of Havik in the final... and still losing. Korea had the maddest fucking routines ever (new ones!!*) and USA had 2 people come out doing the same set next to each other.
<br>
8. All the judges knows everyone in Skills Havik and no one in the Korean team.

Dispite all this shit, the Koreans still gave their respects to USA, even though they knew that they were screwed over. They put up a brave face... the injustice will be seen on the video when it comes out, and i'm confident that most of you guys will agree with me that it was a total set up.

What worries me is that if people start thinking that this is acceptable. Why should any Asian countries do bboying if they are automatically dismissed as "not having any foundations" or "don't dance to the music". I take offence to these comments, and Korea's success has become it's own failure. It's become a stereotype.

나를 걱정하게 만드는 것은 사람들이 그냥 넘어가도 된다고 생각하기 시작하면 어쩌나하는 것이다. 어떤 동양 비보이들이 "아무런 기초도 가지지 않은" 또는 "음악에 춤을 못춘다"는 등으로 자동적으로 실격이 된다면 비보잉을 하겠는가?(...이말은 인종차별이 있다는 말이...-_-;;)
난 이말에 화가 난다. 한국비보이들의 성공은 이말이 틀렸음을 보여줄 것이고 결국 상투적인 말일 뿐이다.

RESPECT to MC Supernatural showing us why he's the best!! Respect to beatbox master Killa Kella helping him out with the beats! This was creative rapping at his best! He had 3 things, to rap a song by including 3 words chosen by the audience, rapping to the style of another rapper... he did an amazing Busta Rhymes! The best was the last one though. He got people in the front row to rap to the objects that they held up from left to right, and he got to a Korean flag and was like "Look over here i got a flag of Japan!"... then realising his mistake he managed to rhyme "That wasn't japan it was Korea!!"... "I'm so dope i even correct my mistakes"... all rhyming of course.

그를 도와준 비트박스 마스타 킬라켈라에게도 respect!!!! 그의 능력을 보여준 정말 창의적인 랩핑이었다. 3가지를 했는데 관객들이 말한 3 단어를 포함한 랩..환상적인 BUsta Rhymes을 했다. 최고는 마지막이었다. ....태극기를 잡고선 "여기봐! 일장기를 잡았다!!!" 라고 외쳤다. 그리곤 자신의 실수를 깨닫고 (랩의)운을 맞추며 "일장기가 아니라 태극기!!! 난 정말 끝내줘. 내 실수도 정정할줄 아니까"....(해석이..ㅡㅜ)
